Right after surgery I felt pain anytime I bent over. You should call your DR if you are still in pain and feel like something is wrong.

I had that happen 2. I called my doctor and he said it is really hard to tear the stitch out because he sews it in there so good. I am 2 months post op and it seemed like as long as I kept my stomach pooched out, I was ok but as I started walking and then jogging and my tummy muscles started tightening then it hurt more. I went to Wal-greens and got one of those white stretchy stomach bands that helps hold your stomach in. That really helped when I would bend over and while I was doing stuff around the house.

I popped a port stitch a few weeks ago bending over in the shower. The pain lasted about 24 hours or so. My surgeon said it's still laying flat and there's 3 other stitches holding it in place, plus new scar tissue, so to not worry. Always call your own doc to check though
