Unjury protein powders

Recommended Posts

I purchased some Unjury Protein powders on-line today. Couldn't stand the chocolate whey powder recommended by the nutritionist. Anyone try these? I got chicken and unfavored. I don't care if it is unfavored. I could always add some sugar free (powdered) Jello to it.

I think the unflavored is OK. I add it to crystal light energy for my morning wake up. The chicken Soup is tolerable if you need something less sweet than most, but I hate that it can't be really hot. I like soup warmer than 130 degrees.. They are both better than most of the other Protein powders I've tried.

Actually Unjury Protein Powder is the only Protein Powder I like... My favorite is the chocolate splendor

I've tried several others, but keep coming back to unjury, which is the one that was recommended by my surgeon. The chicken flavor isn't bad at all, it just isn't scalding hot if you make it as directed. You can make it hotter, but you'll change the texture of the Protein - little threads of Protein that kind of remind me of the thin strands of eggs in egg drop Soup. I've used the unflavored in oatmeal, mashed potatoes, and other mushies and honestly it didn't change the flavor of the food at all. The chocolate splendor is my favorite, and sometimes I kick it up with a dash of DaVinci sugarfree Syrup (the English toffee in the chocolate shake is my favorite). Anyway, I have it every morning as my Breakfast since I've never been a morning eater.

Now, I read a few recipes somewhere online that used an expresso protein powder called click, which comes in only two flavors. I bought the mocha and I don't care for it at all, so I'm mixing it with my Unjury so I don't waste my money.

I love the chocolate Splendor from Unjury. I wasn't a fan of the chicken flavor, but the nice part about Unjury is if you get the item and you don't like it, contact customer service and you can return it and they'll usually replace it a flavor that you like.

The chicken Soup flavor is delicious! However, you can not heat it in the microwave... the Protein clumps. I don't know which is worse... luke warm chicken soup or hot, clumpy chicken soup. It was a good thought but just didn't work for me... gave my Unjury away to a friend.

I just put the unflavored in my Herbalife shake - as I prefer the taste of theirs.....you can always add some sugarfree pudding to the unflavored, not sure if that would be enough flavoring for me, though? I add a tbs of the cheesecake pudding to my choc herbalife shakes to add variety...YUM! They key for me is not doing the same thing all of the time...

I just ordered unjury (weird name) today as well and am excited to see it has gotten great reviews.I heard it mixes really well and tastes great. I wanted to order their Vitamins for bandsters but they are out of stock. I like that you only have to take one and none of the ingredients come from China.

I don't know if anyone has tried the Blue Diamond almond milk, but it is heavenly, super creamy and light. The numbers are for 1 cup- 60 calories, 2.5 g fat, 8 carbs, 1 Protein. Has 45% of your daily Calcium and 50% of vit E. If you really want to lose the carbs they have an unsweetened version too. The original has a bit of cane juice in it. I have bought the unsweetened chocolate flavor and added splenda, it was yummy. have a feeling this will be my friend the next few weeks while on liquids. Looking forward to trying the Unjury in the unsweetened, thinking the chocolate may be awesome in the chocolate.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
