I thought the majority of the food was disgusting, and I'm not a picky eater, very few items were tolerable. I also think I'm sensitive to soy, all of it has soy, it gave me major bathroom issues. 3 of my friends did it with me and we all felt the same way about the taste/quality, and the food effected us all the same way in the bathroom. It also gave us uncontrolable gas, it would happen wherever and whenever it wanted with no warning.. I bought 6 weeks worth of food and maybe ate 2 weeks worth. those 2 weeks were torture. To me it was a huge waste of money and I gained the 12 pounds I lost back right away. I wouldn't feed it to a stray dog in all honesty. It's also still high in sodium, I would have been better off just eating all food and Snacks made by weight watchers and least those taste pretty good.

I was on Nutrisystem for a year. I lost 10 pounds...yay. The food sucks and is, like the other poster said, high in sodium. Most of the food is Tomato based and gave me horrible heartburn and stomache issues. It's definately not worth it. It's really expensive and it is much less expensive to just go to the store and buy your own food. I spent roughly $300 a month on the nutrisystem. Now I spend $60 a month buying grocieries to feed my self. Nutrisystem is definately not worth it.

I tried it a few years back and one day after I had opened the third lunch I could not eat as it was most disgusting, I tossed all the meal I had ordered and asked that my future orders be canceled! It is horrible....I will be Marie really doesn't eat it!

I thought about doing something like that when I first started out on this journey to make sure I didn't go over my calories but then I seen how expensive It was and I had already spent over 2000 last year to get this band put on and with going in to get fills every 6 weeks I just didn't want to spend another dime on my weight loss. I'm not self-pay but my insurance made me pay 20% of the surgery plus a 500.00 deductable. I am doing okay with tracking my calories now. I get off sometimes but I pick myself back up fairly quick. Good luck!

I tried it about five years ago and lost about 25 pounds in a few months. I'm not a picky eater, and found most of the food tolerable (I also like military MRE's, though  ). I actually liked some of the meals and Snacks. I didn't have any problems with it and felt full on it (actually couldn't eat as much as I was supposed to every day). I do like systems like that as they're so easy, no real cooking but provide a decent amount of nutrients without the effort of putting them together yourself. It's just so expensive, much more than what I'm able to do cooking for myself (and mine tastes better :) ). I couldn't keep it up long term.

I did it a few years ago for 3 months and lost 35 pounds, but 80% of the food is disgusting, and I'm not picky. If u google low glycemic index, u can do the diet yourself with your own foods.

I loved my nutrisystem. I got it for a great price using a discount program with my employer. And the frozen food selection, although more expensive, was exceptional.

Alot of Tomato and alot of soy. And enough sodium to last a lifetime. There were some horrible choices but most were good and few were exceptional. I wad on it for 3 months.

I did it to help learn new portion sizes. They were even kind enough to let me return some items because my band said it was still too much food. I started it may of 2010 and just now finished my last snack items from my last shipment.

It was disgusting and looked like dog food haha (and every meal looked the same). Also it's stupid because on top of what's in the box that you paid $400 for, you had to eat a fruit, and a salad, and a veggie with each meal.. it was very expensive.

Eat real food it tastes good ahha.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
