I agree with TKW......I don't know if I would want the added empty calories! But I suppose as a treat once in a while, it would be okay. I don't think they are carbonated.....it is Syrup on ice basically.

I treat myself to one of the small ones no more than once a month so I can still have that coke flavor I crave. They don't give me any problems when I drink them so they should be fine.

Do soda flavored icees still have carbonation?

Great idea. I like the flavor of Coke, too.

I have found a sugar-free variety of those. They are 7-up,rootbeer, and orange soda flavored. It think there may even be a Dr. Pepper flavor. I haven't actually tried them but saw them in the freezer section and picked some up for my dad who is diabetic, and he is hooked! Like an addict hooked! lol...

I tried one but it still has some bubbles so I gave it to my kids.

Not sure about the bubbles but I would think you'd get a lot of gas from having to suck it through a straw...

If you are talking about icee...the fluffy icy drink I find at the movie theaters, yes there is carbination and lots of sugar as that's what helps keep it Fluid like and not freez up according to their web site. Plus like said above u normally drink them with a straw so that puts even more air into the pouch. If you are talking about ice pops then no, there is no carbination in them and yes they make sugar free ice pops in soda flavors that are ok for bandsters to have. Hope that clears it up for you :)

Never tried though you may want to try making your own icee using Torani sugar free syrups or DaVinci. They come in all sorts of flavors. Worth a try!

I went to the movies with a friend of mine and wanted an Icee so bad, so I got one, not even thinking about the carbonation or drinking out of the straw. About mid-way through the movie I started getting the worst pains in my chest and neck. The GAS WAS HORRIBLE!!!! I thought I was having a heart attack! The neck pain from gas after my surgery wasn't even this bad. I recommend staying FAR AWAY from Icees. The pain is not worth it!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
