What are you craving???

Recommended Posts

For the past few weeks I've been craving cupcakes. no icing, just the cake part of it. i don't care at this point what flavor either lol. i have a few reasons why i don't go ahead and eat one.

1. i'm afraid it will get stuck

2. if it doesn't get stuck then i will 'think' i can eat another one

3. i looked at the calories and i about fainted lol

the craving is almost gone. but what do you all do when you crave something? eat it, ignore it or what?

Iv'e had a bad craving all week for Yellow cupcakes w/chocolate frosting or b-day cake w/icecream. Was at my sisters last weekend for my nephews b-day & not only was there B-B-Q & all the sides but cakes, icecream etc. I did not have any. I picture myself eating some when I am thin and enjoying it even more.

The weirdest thing, a kahlua and coke. Do you guys have kahlua over there? Its such "tart fuel", lol, only bimbos drink it.

I'm a wine drinker, and fancy myself as a bit of a sophisticated one too, lol. I never drink those girlie drinks, but I really want something like that. I think I want the relaxation of acohol but wine can actually be unpleasant to drink now, it burns a little sometimes. I've drunk waaaay too much Baileys too lately. Very fattening!

I am in mushy stage right now. My mother was visiting and wanted to get some stuff from costco. We went during the food promo time and they were baking brownies. OMG the smell nearly killed me. They were sampling their canned chicken breast with mayo which I can have right now. So I did but threw away the cracker. Tasted so good because I make mine with low fat Mayo and they used the real stuff. I did have the pumpkin filling of the pumpkin pie they were sampling. But only one (so about 1 tablespoon) so not that bad.

I had a small dinner party the other day where I made chili (took out my growned turkey and tofu before adding the rest of the ingrediants); and also made nachos. Can I say how badly I wanted to eat those Nacho's really really badly.

For me right now it's more about the textures. On Friday I can start having solid foods like apple! I had really cut down on carbs like crackers, breads, chips before the surgery anyway. But I miss being able to eat carrots and grapes.

Any and all things chocolate, but that is PMS talking. Other than that it is pickles. Yes, I eat the pickles, and I drink the Pickle Juice.< /p>

I'm 5 months post-op and was a HUGE sandwich/taco/french fry lover. At first, it was very difficult to stay away and fight the cravings, but thinking of the foreign object being in your body for a reason helped fight the cravings. It takes 21 days to break a habit. Same with food and cravings. One thing for myself is I don't want the craving to get so bad that I go overboard when I can have, so I have implemented a little bread such as tortillas or whole wheat flat bread. Once a month ONLY. It's worked out, cause this past time eating a taco for Breakfast and flat bread tuna sandwich for dinner(not on same day), I didn't like either and tossed the tortilla/bread aside cause it was too doughy since I chewed the crap out of it to avoid PB.

...to think...I'd eat 2 sandwiches or two tacos for a meal...now 60 lbs lighter.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
