I ate like crap yesterday and today! PMS does this to me every month, and usually i can curb it...but i have no idea what my deal is! so to compensate for my eating of chips and reese cups i worked out three hours yesterday and today...so now i can barely get off the couch.

this cycle has GOT to stop!!

and im stressing a little because we are going away this weekend to a softball tourney fri-mon and i know my food options are not going to optimal. *sigh* i should wear mittens so i cant get the bags open...haha:blush:

thanks for listening to my rant about myself....

Yea I'm pms right now and walking by food places was sooo horrible cuz it all smelled so good. But you at least admitted you made a mistake and are trying to correct it! And not trying to sweep that elephant under the rug

Don't beat yourself up, it is not helpfull at all. Just pick yourself up and move on. Every meal is a chance to make healthy choices. Being out of town will be difficult but it can be done. I suggest bringing some protien bars along for times when there is just nothing that is on your plan to eat. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I know what you mean. I am pms'ing right now and totally went off on my husband this morning and made a banana cream pound cake!! I only had one piece and took the rest to my parents house. That was the first time I had sweets since surgery. After I ate the cake I felt so bad. I'm trying so hard to make this work for me. What has helped me in the past is when I plan every meal and snack for one week at a time. That way its easier to not deviate from my meal plan. I am going to re-start this today! Take you some healthy Snacks along (protein bars, pre-made shakes, fruit, ) Something else that I have found that I like is Special K potein Water add ins. They only have 5g but it's pretty good, comes in iced tea, pink lemonade and strawberry kiwi. Good luck!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
