Hey everyone, looking for a buddy who is around my age. I'm 26 and will be 27 in October.

Just got banded and I don't mind if you are a new bandster or not, just want someone who I can email on a regular basis who understands some of this because no one in my life has any understanding of what I'm going through.

You can feel free to message me... both of you. I don't really have anyone to talk to other than my boyfriend, and I'm sure I'm driving him crazy with my emotions

Hey everyone! I would love to have any buddies! I was banded 3/15, and have had a few minor problems, like over fill, being completely unfilled, being refilled, having to have another (slight) unfill. But all in all, it's going great!

Hey, 27 yr old almost 28. Haven't been banded yet but I'm on my way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Going through my insurance required 6 month physician supervised diet right now. I check in to this site frequently and have Facebook so new friends are welcome.

I am an old woman of 34....LOL and have been banded since March 2009....but I am more than happy to be a buddy and help out anyone who needs it! I have some friends that recently had surgery and it helped them to be able to bounce things off of me....to make sure they were feeling "normal" things.

Good luck to all of you!!!

If any of you want to email me that haven't already, or if you have and we lost touch, please PM me and I will give you my email or you can give me yours. Send me your first name so I know who you are if we already have met, and we can be buddies because I totally need all the support I can get.

Blessings to all!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
