What kind of pets?

Recommended Posts

HI Y'all! My baby is a mini pom. He is black, 6 years old and weighs about 5 pounds. He is soooooooooo spoiled! We have him clipped in the summer because he gets so hot. (Not that he is ever really outside). We have spent more money on this dog then we ever did on our kids, but I am totally in love!

We have 2 little girl ferrets in our home, Pixel an Penenlope, partners in crime. They do go into a pet cab at night, as they like to play at 3am and want us to wake up and play too! Otherwise, they have run of the house. Penelope is more reserved, and prefers cuddling, while Pixel is up to no good. I used to worry that my 4yo daughter would terrorize them, but I can honestly say that Pixel terrorizes her. They love picking on each other. They keep life interesting for sure, cassie

Oh I love my pets, my house is a zoo!

I have 3 rescued ferrets, they are my joy. And then there is my BABY BOY, my english bulldog. And then there is my black lab. And then my best babies, my bunnies. And then there is my life, my kitty. And if I didn't have enough there is my fish...lol....

Running out of room for the kids!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
