Here we go again! This one is going to be a long one. Lets see who wants to join this week and have our first weigh in next Sun/Mon.

My goal is to lose the last 14 by the 4th! That is 8 weeks! Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know how to make a spreadsheet?

I don't know how to do a spread sheet, but I would like to join in since I did horridly with the Mother's Day Challenge! I am going to shoot for 15 pounds over the 8 week period, hopefuly I will find restriction and get over this plateau!

Good luck everyone.

Sign me up, Buttercup! My goal will be for 15 by the 4th. That will put me 1 pound below the next biggie milestone I'm aiming for (175).

Wow--I really like this band!

I'm in and I'm really going to challenge myself. I have a goal to be in One-derland on July 4!

I'd like to participate as Independence day is just one week prior to my summer vacation.

I could use some guidance though as I'm not really sure what I should target for since I'm not on solid foods yet so don't really have a good barometer to go by.

I've got 19 more days on full liquids and the weight has been coming off pretty well so far with that program. I've lost 15 lbs. since banding, 27 since pre-op liquid diet and 32 overall since beginning to work with the nutritionist pre-op. Just not sure what I should expect to lose based on ~3 weeks full liquids plus ~5 weeks of solid food, probably without much if any restriction.

Any help for setting a realistic short term goal would be much appreciated.

TIA,

Katy

I want to join. I was shy 2 pounds of my mother's day challenge. I think I will shoot for 20. I know I have to get out there and exercise that will help me. I had my first fill and things are going good so far. Happy Mother's day to all you mothers as well trish

I was told to plan for an average of 3 pound a week, that may be high but if you are following things and exercising I dont think it is to unrealistic. When are you scheduled for a fill?

I'm in! My goal for this challenge is 25 lbs. I'm training for a few races this summer/fall, so I'm going to boost my workouts. That spreadsheet from the last challenge was awesome, anybody know how to put it together?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
