I will be in Colorado on the 18th to see Dr. Smith and will be there until the next day, if anyone wants to get together let me know maybe we can have lunch or something.

Hi flygirl, I see you got a fill on the 18th I was at Dr. Smiths on the 18th as well.... of course thats when I found out I have a leak and now I have to have my port replaced.. I will let you all know when I will be out in Pueblo to get that done.

wow I can't believe we were both there on the same day...what time? I guess it doesn't matter but next time you will be here give me a ring maybe we can meet! Sorry to hear about your leak.....what does he think caused it? I was really afraid when I got my first fill(which was a nightmare) that for sure he was going to poke a hole in the tubing (I don't see how he didn't) but I am ok and 2 fills later and all is well. See my port is tipped, in fact I have to have my fills standing up in order to be able to find the opening and it works well for me, he always gets it on the first try NOW!!! so good luck with your new port and keep in touch!!

I was there at 3:30... thats normally when I make my visits, since I have to travel. what caused my leak was him poking a hole in the side of my port... and now Im just waiting for a hospital that will take me.. ugh!!!

Yeah next time im there I will let you know. I normally stay at the Hampton Inn there next to Cracker Barrel... its a pretty nice place.

Counting down till Dec 13...surgery date

I have to lose 5 more lbs before the 12th....Doc wanted me to lose a total of 19 lbs..

2 days to go before surgery.( Tuesday ). I weight in this morning @ 322 lbs ( yesterday it was 320.8 ) When I saw the doctor in September he said he wanted me to lose 19 lbs ( was 339 lbs then ). I have an appt on Monday @ 8:30 A.M. so I hope to be down to 320 lbs.

Any last minute tips on losing 2 lbs fast. I am doing the Full liquid diet today/ clear liquid diet on Monday.

Any tips??

I would not do this on a regular basis, but I would take laxatives to get the 2 lbs off before the doctor visit. Just once won't hurt.
