This is what your stomach looks like when the band is improperly placed. This is what happend to me at the Molding Clinic in TJ Mexico. Dr. Huacuz was my surgeon. The band did not slip. The band was improperly placed.

Unless you really know what you are looking at with those pics, we would never know it was misplaced.

Yep, me too. Misplaced band. Dr. Huacuz, Molding Clinic on 7/4/05. I have x-rays and can't scan them.

Shannon, I got them here to post but I don't really know what I'm looking at. What's misplaced about it? Not that I don't believe you, I do! I just don't have anything to compare with? Can you 'splain what's wrong? Here's the pic.

I have the xrays of my barrium swallow the day of surgery....all I can clearly tell what is what is my port! LOL

I have photos of my band operation, and one thing I can tell just by looking is that the color is all wrong...not clear, pink and healthy. It looks like the stomach tissue is damaged or bruised here, and there are some lumps that aren't in my pictures. I am sorry for all the discomfort you have experienced..what a pain! HOpe you are feeling better, Cindy

You are never TOO careful, especially after what you went through with the first band. I'm really sorry. I wish I knew what I was looking at in there. I can see the band and the stomach but I can't see just what's wrong with this picture, ya know? I promise I won't do any band surgeries!!!
