Yeah, I've been trying a lot of new things lately. This has inspired some creativity.

So I am on my pre op diet. My surgery is on Monday! But, I was REALLY craving hot chocolate. It's EXTREMELY cold outside. But, since I'm really not allowed to have hot chocolate... or do I have any Reduced Sugar kind to even try to sneak it I improvised! I warmed up some milk.... and put in my Carnation Instant Start (Sugar Free) that I'm allowed to have! And, YUM! Tastes JUST like hot chocolate.
  4. I love Carnation Instant Start. Makes me feel like I'm drinking Chocolate Milk!
  5. I have stuck with mine VERY closely for the most part. However, on day 8 I'm feeling MISERABLE. I can hear my stomach growling. I have been on liquids and raw vegetables. I've been eating a salad for lunch and dinner since Saturday ( I did cheat and add a small serving of FAT FREE dressing on it.) But, today I'm going to eat some plain chicken. I need SOMETHING! I've already lost 24 pounds
  6. I'm not a yogurt fan AT ALL! But, since I'm limited on my pre op diet I eat it. I can tolerate greek yogurt. And, my dr suggested Light and Fit from Dannon. I like it
  7. I don't have much issue getting them down. I just hate the aftertaste. So I make sure I pack a sugar free popsicle to have after I tried the unflavored kind. And, I think it does add some taste to stuff. And, the smell is AWFUL!
  8. Thanks. I found it. And, was like AW! I love it! Whoohoo for December 20th! I can't. I thought I was pre occupied BEFORE. Oh my gosh. It's far worse. All I can think about is surgery. Like, what to do before surgery? What will I need? What do I need to do?? LOL
  9. I have a feeling I'll be cleaning like a crazy person this week. I get sleeved on December 20th. And, then I have my family coming over for Christmas. Luckily, my mom will be doing all the work... and I'll be able to hide in my room if I want to sleep. But, I still want the apartment to be clean... so it will be good for Christmas AND for hubby. Does anyone have a TO DO LIST before surgery? LOL I keep thinking.. OPPS. Better add that to my to do list!
  10. Good luck to everyone this coming week!!
  11. Hi Dayle. It's nice to meet you If you ever need someone to talk to, just PM me.
  12. I'm sorry she has to act like that. But, overall it's YOUR body, YOUR health YOUR decision. So in short GOOD LUCK with your surgery!
  13. I would imagine it would be hard to lose weight AND quit smoking. But, now that you've quit for that time good luck on your next goal. If you need someone to talk to, PM me! I love chatting it up with some new sleeve buddies.. whether they're sleeved or sleevers to be like me!
  14. Marisela! Text me if you need to talk!
  15. I'd worry about the sippy cup letting too much air in ;( But, I hope you can find a way to stay hydrated.
  16. Good luck to you also! I'm hoping to hear some good news this week about my insurance <3
  17. I'm sorry for all this trouble. I hope and pray that something gets figured out for you soon!
