  1. Good luck! I'm glad you have a plan in place in case they deny you!
  2. Congratulations! Read as much as you can on here.. Ask as many questions as you can think of!!
  3. I hope you feel better soon! I'm glad you got yourself checked out though!
  4. You look so beautiful..... But, even if you weighed 500 pounds you'd still be one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. You just have the nicest heart!
  5. Hey! I was sleeved on December 20th. To date I have lost 52 pounds or so. I'm currently in a small stall. But, I'm having issues with Protein. I'm hoping my nectar samples come in TOMORROW. And, that will be fixed I just started to work out other than walking.. so I'm hoping to break this tiny stall soon!
  6. It's normal to feel nervous. My sleeve was my first surgery... But, I didn't get nervous until the very last minute. I was too excited about all the changes I knew would be coming my way. I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!
  7. The actual site for the nectar has a sample pack of 13 flavors for 13 dollars with FREE Shipping!
  8. I like Fuze drinks. But, some of them aren't the best for you
  9. I'm expecting my sample pack of NECTAR to come Monday. I can't wait. I hope I like it because I just can't do the chalky protein shakes anymore
  10. That's awesome. Congrats on the 25 lbs lost!
  11. I used a pillow pet. But, any small pillow will work
  12. I use my Wii every day. It's awesome. I normally get on to do my Biggest Loser Challenge tasks for the day. Which take about 20 minutes. Then, I may do a little bit extra on there. And, play Wii Fit plus for about 30 minutes to an hour. If not more. A lot of fun
  13. They told me to eat baby food. but, I decided against it! Good luck!
  14. I never had a band but when I looked into WLS it's the first one I researched. My mom has it, and I just knew more people with it. It wasn't until a comment from the Nut that I started to double think that decision. I am SO glad I didn't it! My mom has so many issues. She's CONSTANTLY sick from it. She was worried about me getting the sleeve because it was so invasive. But, she finally told me yesterday that she's SO glad I didn't get the band. She gets sick from just a simple fill of half a CC! I hope she gets that thing out SOON!
  15. My mom is doing an online/actual party of PC in February so I guess I'll be picking one up!
  16. Go for it! Walmart has a new kind. It's a foam... that may work better than the actual dye!
  17. That's awesome. NSV= non scale victory. something that is not related to the number on the scale.
  18. The psych is to make sure you have support. To make you you are fully aware of the decision you are making, that you are in the right mind to accept full ownership of all the things you will have to do post op. It's not bad AT ALL. He just asked me some questions about my child hood. About my eating habits, my life now, etc. It was a breeze. And, he was really nice. They just want to make sure that you are in the right mindset. It would totally suck to go through the surgery, and not to be mentally prepared. It's really a helpful thing! Good luck to you on your journey!
  19. I'm hopefully going to buy the Wii Fit Plus tomorrow I can't wait I bought the Biggest Loser Challenge yesterday.
  20. Good luck!! I was denied at first because I didn't have ALL the paperwork they needed. But, once I faxed that over on a Thursday the pre approved Friday, received REAL approval that Monday! McKee... do you have any co-morbidities? They are STRICT. They may deny you
  21. Way to take charge of YOUR health! That's awesome. Congratulations!
