Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate?

Does anyone have an opinion on Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate? I've been drinking that for over a year, and I like it a lot because it's fat-free and carb-free, and one scoop is 90 to 100 calories (depending on what flavor it is). I'm just not sure how it stacks up against Unjury or some of the others out there, and would really like some feedback. I get mine from Amazon.com--free second-day shipping makes it a lot cheaper than even buying it from the local health food store. Oh yeah, and 23g of protein per scoop.

I mis-posted this to another forum, so my apologies if anyone ends up reading this twice. Anyway...opinions, anyone?

I do not like the taste of Nectar. I know people rave about it but it gags me and I can smell it. I do like the cappuccino flavor that is all..

Yeah, I've found that I really like them as well. Lots of fruit flavors, and I love the chocolate and vanilla. And they're readily available, so as far as I'm concerned, unless my doctor tells me I absolutely have to take something else, I'm sticking 'em!

i LOVE them,, the fuzzy navel,,, the apple,,,the chocolate i make with milk and a banana,,, love them,,,

I like most of them (not the vanilla, it's too watery). I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be as good in terms of protein quality as any of the other whey based shakes.

I don't like most of the high protein drinks. I like the pre-mixed special k and the muscle milk lite, but most of the powders gag me. I like the nectar cherry or tea, but not full strength and not alone. I mix mine with double liquid either crystal lite, sugar free cool aide or regular tea. I also mix the cherry 1/2 scoop in a yogurt fruit smoothie.

Have you tried using food flavorings, like people use in making frosting or flavored dessert stuff? I've been using those in 'recipes' for the protein supplements, and mixing in stuff like (don't gag) fresh baby spinach and oat bran or ground flaxseed. Raw carrots work pretty well, too. I know not everybody's quite as, umm...experimental...as me, but I thought I'd at least put the suggestion out there. The baby spinach and the carrots sort of take up some of the sweet factor, and give it some texture, as well.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Nectar products. It's a good form of protein, and a nice change from some of the milky flavored ones.

I'm expecting my sample pack of NECTAR to come Monday.

I can't wait. I hope I like it because I just can't do the chalky protein shakes anymore

I didn't like the cappuccino flavor but tried the fuzzy navel this morning and it was fine.
