  21. I got this book referral from a medical site in which they highly recommended. I checked ebay and amazon they have it for sale starting at about $15~ Amazon lets you look inside. It seems like a lot of ppl here have a problem with the emotional part of baratric surgery. hope this helps, I ordered a copy of the book myself and I'm not sleeved yet! The Emotional First + Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery, Second Edition [Paperback] Cynthia L. Alexander[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Emotional-First-Aid-Kit-Practical/dp/0976852659/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_1#][/ame] Author
  22. Wow Sept is just right around the corner! Although I dont have a pre op diet, I plan on 3 weeks of high protein , low carbs (I find that strange, some drs insist on pre op and others 1 day!!??) anyway keep us posted on your pre op diets! xx kelly
  23. whats the difference btwn vertical sleeve and super sleeve?
  24. Traute, I am so sorry your going through this and sorry your Dr didnt give you some advice on where to get help. Don't give up, easier said than done, huh? We all have a bond here, we are (or have been) overweight, fought the yo yo dieting. You took a big step in getting the sleeve. Perhaps you can take a step in going to Overeaters Anonymous (or counsel with someone experiences with bariatrics). I just went first time Saturday and I'm not a social person~it was a real comfort to meet others who understand and dont judge you. Please hang in there, and please look into getting help from others who can/willing to help you! Good luck and keep us posted on your journey. XX Kelly
