Hi Ladies! No date yet, but I'm on schedule and it should be approved for early September. Anxious. I have not been able to lose my "mandatory" weight. Its not even a lot. But, I went through the eat now before surgery urges. Yikes! Its been hard, but now in the mode to get it done. GOOD LUCK to all of us. It is our destiny to be healthier.

I'm hoping for a late August date but might not be approved before September. Have about 200# to lose. Hoping to get approved this week!

wow this is great to know so many are on this journey, now I dont feel so alone...Right now, I get the 'are you doing the right thing/am I ready for this' thoughts,

just happened right after I got the call with the surgery date that Ive been waiting since February for! I just redirect my thoughts to the new healthy me...

hi - I have a 9/21 date - but plan to call on monday and take the 9/7 date if it's still open. I am a revision from band to vsg - and have 100 pds to loose

Hello! I am new here and officially began my sleeve journey today with my consult with my surgeon. I am living and working in Taipei, Taiwan so I am having my surgery done here (cheaper then in the US too). Looking at a late August or anytime in September surgery date (no red tape of 6 months proven failed attempts or classes here....National Health Care FTW!)

As this becomes a reality I do feel some nerves setting in that "are you sure you are ready for this" feeling but I know this is my only way to healthier and happier me!

9th Sept here! xx

Congrats on your dates! Right now, I'm trying to visualize me going in on surgery morning and being calm. I've heard that you should work out your lungs before surgery by blowing up small size balloons, once you blow them up, throw em away and keep doing this-a anestetheologist recommended that... So just to be safe, why not? Share what's going thru your minds at this time... We are not alone in this~:001_smile:
