Hello everybody.

I have a surgery time at september 13 but today they call me and have

a time in august 30. Im so happy and also afriad.

when i went to orientation i was the "smallest" person there at 5'1" 213 lbs.when i told my brother he said, well that should tell you something.like i really wasn't morbidly obese, that these people made me look smaller??well no, compared to the average "normal"person i look like a box...lol.so the point being he made me feel like it isn't an emergency that i have the op.but....i know me...and i already added started gaining when i retired...sometimes i wonder if i AM doing the right thing.but i know my history and i need help.i don't want to be a box with borderline blood pressure issues...

there are alot of people on the same date as me which makes me excited lol. i am also the 7th! it must be a good day haha!

as the days pass by i cant stop myself from looking at smaller clothes and trying to imagine myself actually being that small...it seems like it will never happen but from all the success stories on here i know that it will...does that make any sense at all?

i am excited nervous apprehensive...and so many other things on top of those...i kind of just want it to be over with already so i can being the journet to a slimmer happier me!

I have two weeks of a liquid only diet starting on August 30th. It is going to be rough but I will make it! The thing I am dreading is the caffeine withdrawal... I love coffee too much haha. :wink0:

Hi all. I'm happy to report my surgery date is September 1!!! I'm excited and nervous. I wish you all the very best of luck and I can't wait until we are all on the losers bench sharing this journey together.

..What's to come is better than what's been.

My surgery date is set for September 20th, pending insurance approval. My Lapband is defective and coming out, and I am getting sleeved the same time hopefully. Ready to succeed! I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and have some companions along the way. :)

I am now waiting for the scheduler to call me back. Hoping for the Week of Sept 20th. Good luck everyone.

Tracey
