  2. Yes I am walking pretty good, did a 2 mile stroll on the beach yesterday and about an hour later my port was sore and hurting a little, I took some tylenol and I am much better. I feel even better today then yesterday. How much have you lost so far or are you staying away from the scales. I weighed today and it is down 6 pounds since surgery day, I am ready for my soup and protein shake on friday.
  3. Congratulations to you...My post op appt is next thurs April 1st and day 3 was pretty good just gassy. I took the loratab up until sunday morning and then regular tylenol around 2:30 on sunday. Did not take any meds on monday nor today, feeling Great and thin today...lol I am getting ready to go for a 2 mile walk on the beach in a bit (decided to get away for recovery) but will be back to work on thursday.
  4. It is normal to be stressed but trust me you will be fine, stay positive. I had my surgery on last friday March 19th and it was amazing, was rolled into the operating room at 10:50am and was discharged at 4:15. I was very sore and gassy but as soon as i got home I walked around my house for a little exercise, I took my loratab every 4 hours up until yesterday morning and have not taken any since. Around 2:30 yesterday I took liquid tylenol but nothing today at all, however I did take some milk of magnesia a little while ago so things can start moving along. Now I am at the beach for a few days to finish recovering. Hang in there! When it was over I did thank God for waking me up
  5. Dr. Enochs did my surgery on March 19th 2010 and it was a great experience, he performed the SIL (Single Lap Band Procedure) through my navel and it's so amazing how far technology has come.
  6. Had a relative good night's sleep...Meds are working for slight pain, working to wean myself off the prescription...not feeling hungry at all...just a little gas discomfort, but other than that I am feeling great...off to the beach to recoup for a few days!!!
  7. Hello all, I was banded on yesterday and it was awesome. I went to surgery at 10:50am and was discharged at 4:15. Dr. Enoch did the SIL (single lapband incision) everything went so smooth. We stopped to wal-greens to get my liquid loratab...when I got home I walked around my house for a little exercise. Just sore and a little gassy, I take my pain meds every 4 hours like clock work it really helps. I am not hungry that is so amazing to me. Doc put a 10cc band in not sure how much fluid but I know he put a little to keep the port line straight. Well don't let me bore yall, going for a ride in a little bit. First day of spring and it is beautiful here in NC.

  9. I too had my last suppers several times and I see that it is completely normal. I started weight watchers after my initial consult on Jan 13th and by the time I was approved on Feb 23rd I had lost 8 lbs..soon as I was approved the eating of whatever I wanted started but thankfully I was scheduled for surgery on March 19th, after my results appt on march 9th and surgery was scheduled I started my low carb diet and have lost 5 lbs already. My point is by the time I had eaten so much of what I wanted I was really tired of food the only thing that happen during the first 3 days of low carbing it I had a terrible headache (guess my body went thru withdrawels but I am all good now. Five more days and I will be in band land:) Congratulations to all of us!!!!!
