Hey there, I received my 2nd fill today. I'm now up to 4cc's. I've only lost 5lbs since my last fill and am a bit frustrated. I hope to have much more restriction this time around and am looking forward to some warmer weather to help me get more activity in. Best of luck...keep us posted.

Just got my 2nd fill this morning. I hope I'm as lucky as you. Best of luck at the gym...you'll do great!
  3. Don't panic! :frown: Walking worked best for me...the gasX didn't do a thing. I think it differs for everyone. Hang in there...soon you'll wake up pain free. Congrats on getting banded...best of luck.
  4. How funny! Why? Because I too became obsessed with the scale. I have finally decided to put mine away and go back to my originial plan of just weighing in with my doctor. I'm going to use how I feel and my cloths as my indicator of success in between visits. Besides, our bodies are so strange...one day up, the next down...it's all just too much. :smile2: Good luck!
  5. Lucky you! I've had to wait 5 weeks in between fills. I called two weeks after asking for another but was told that the doctor wouldn't do another so soon. I was banded on 12/17 and first fill received 1/8. UGH! I go next week 2/12 for my second fill. Like you, I'm ready to get this show on the road. I'm eating between 1 & 1 1/2 cup of food at each meal but could easily eat more. I'm ready to be at place where 5 or 6 bites of lean protein and veggies fill me up. Good luck! Keep us posted.
  6. 90lbs! Awesome! I've only been banded since 12/17/09 so I don't know exactly how you feel but hang in there...you'll find that sweet spot again!

Sounds like you are off to a good start! Good luck with the 35 - 40 lbs and congrats on the 55 already gone! My only advice would be to stick with lean protien...that's what I find fills me up quickly and keeps me statisfied the longest. Good luck!

Diana, I am right there with you girl! I was banded on 12/17 and sometimes wonder if it really happened. I've had one small fill and go back on 2/12. I weigh and mesure everything I eat but still feel like I could pack it in. I dont' - which is good - but am ready to feel that "full" that everyone talks about. I have officially put my scale away. I had never owned a scale before, but all my girlfriends insisted that I get one. I have done nothing but obsess over it. It's up...it's down...UGH! I'm just trying to stay focused on how I feel and how my cloths feel...which by the way are beginning to hang on me. That's what I will cling to...not the number. BTW...congrats on the 15lbs. That's awesome! That's 60 sticks of butter...just to give you a visual. :smile2:
  10. Hang in there! I was on a liquid diet one week prior to my surgery and was just weak. On the plus side...I dropped 11 pounds before surgery and I truly believe it has helped me with a quick recovery. I was banded on 12/17 and am rocking right now. I have been eating soft foods for the past week and have lost 7 pounds since my surgery. It will be over before you know and you will on your way to success! Best of luck! :Dancing_wub:
  11. I had my surgery on the 17th and am doing pretty good. I have an apt w/my doctor on Jan 8th and am unsure if I'll get a fill then. I was told to begin working in "regular" foods back into my diet on day 5 post-op so I've been eating for the past week. I'm pretty much sticking to soft foods but have been able to get my protein in. When did your doctor say that you could begin eating again? I'm curious because I seem to be eating sooner than most folks. My meals are approx 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup but I love that I'm not on a liquid diet. Take care and let me know how you are doing. :Dancing_wub:
  12. I have my surgery on the 17th as well. I've been on liquid diet for the past week...you are so lucky you that you can still eat. Hmmm...I find it interesting how different the pre-op diets can be. Hope all goes well!
  13. Girl, I have about 5 weeks and I feel like I'm going to pop out of my skin I'm so excited. I hope you stay focused and encouraged! As far as the turkey goes...you're on your own there.
  14. Hang in there! As far as lunch...sounds like it was perfect but was missing protein which is probably why you were hungry so soon after. I too Jazzercised for years and never got the weight off, but I loved, loved, loved the classes...keep going. Where else can you go and make an ass of yourself for an hour? 2010 will be here before you know it!
