Hola chica I so know what you are talking about i feel the same way. I had lapband done in dec 8, 09 and guess how much i have lost only 30 pounds and still have lots to go. The way i see it it's 30lbs that i hope never to see again. If you need any motivation or anything email me i will be your lapband buddy...

Thank you all for the advice.. I don't see my Dr. i see his nurse practitioner She won’t give me the fills that I need. As a matter of fact iv called her to ask if I could get a fill a few weeks after she gave me the last one and guess what she said no. I had to wait cause sometimes it takes time. I know the process is slow but not this slow???? So I called my Doctor to see if we could talk about what’s going on i have an appointment with him next week.. So lets cross our fingers that he gives me a fill. I will keep you guy's posted... lots of thanks...

Well first they could not find my port it was to the side. I went about 3weeks ago to have another fill and she told me to wait another month. At times i think why did i do this if it's not working for me. I read everyones post on here and it makes me sad cause I'm still on step one.....

Hello band family So I need your guy's help please! I have been banded since Dec 08, 2009 and I have only lost 11 to 15 lbs and have had one fill. I need help give me ideas please on how to eat and what to do I'm alwas hungry HELP guy's thanks

Has anyone had a fill but under an xray? I have tried to have a fill 3 times and they have not been able to do it. I went to have an xray done to see if the port was in place and it was so Dr. went in to do my fill for the 3 time and could not do AT ALL. Let me say it was so painful. So now what we are going to do is go the hosptial while they are taking the xray Dr will be doing the fill to see were the needle is at. Let me know if anyone has had this done.:frown:

I was wondering if we could drink alcohol when we are banded and if yes what kind. Could we drink beer cause it’s a carbonated drink?

So I was banded on Dec 8th and since i got out of the hospital i have been so cold. Does anyone get super cold. I was the kind of person who was ALWASYS so hot but now Im always cold. Let me now if this is happing to anybody else...... Thanks

Ok so i really think i need a fill i could eat anything and thats not good. I need help could you guy's give me some advise PLEASE.......:Dancing_wub: I was able to eat everything for the holidays. Should i do another week of liquids? I don't know what to do i go see my dr. on Jan 24 but i have to loss some weight before then.

Hey girl my doctor told me to drink the atkins shake it has 15g protein! Im also looking for something that has a little more cause I really need it. let me know what works for you so maybe I could try it.

I was also like you I’m also on med Lexapro and I kept telling myself not to do this I can’t live without food my things was sweets. Guess what I can live without them if I want to keep living? You will do go there will always be that fear inside us no matter what we will always ask our self why we did it! but at the end of the road the light is shinning and we will look and FEEL great. My doctor told me not to stop taking my meds until I felt good, he said we still need them so try and talk to your doctor she what she tells you. Best wishes and you are making the right decision.
