  1. I was just going to suggest if you can't wait to do a breast implant rather than a lift. I had implants put in 6 years ago (pre gaining 100 pounds) and researched a ton. A lift was almost as much and the results still 'sagged' for lack of better a word. You'll need something more solid to hold em up! I'm hoping when I lose the weight my implants still hold up well, so far so good but I'm only down around 30 so far.
  2. I started soft food that early. With no fills I doubt as long as you chew good you'll get anything stuck. I never got anything stuck until my band was tight, then you KNOW when it's obstructed believe you me.
  3. This is what I went through last week and I went back and they took only a small amount out and it made all the difference in the world. I'm not losing 8 pounds a week like I did the week before when it was too tight but I am still losing and I feel so much better. I'd go back and have the Dr.'s take a look. I know it's scary that you may not still lose but if they take some out, they can always put a little in at a time to get you to the proper 'sweet spot'.
  4. I looked on Dick's sporting good store and didn't see them on the site at all. Are they only in the stores? I have one of the coupon books that I could use.
  5. I still think I need about another 25 pounds until I get there... sigh...
  6. I have about 8cc in a 10cc band. I had 8 12cc in after 3 fills but went back for an unfill of 1/2 a cc. I still think I need just a tad more, it's amazing how much just a little makes a difference.
  7. I waited about 2 weeks, until my port area was completely healed. Listen to your body, if you feel fine enough than go for it. :w00t:
  8. I had surgery on Friday and went back to work on Tuesday, that Tuesday was tough but by Wednesday I was fine. I have a desk job so I just made sure I got up and walked around more than usual.
  9. I ate those and saltine's with fat free butter spray during mushie stage. I thought they were god sent, it felt so good to actually chew something by then.
  10. Thanks everyone. I went to see the Dr. today and she took only a slit amount of fill out and OMG did it make all the difference in the world. I can now eat 1 cup and keep it down and best yet feel full! The band looked great she said so now I don't have to worry about that thank goodness.
  11. I had my third fill two weeks ago I now have 8.5cc in a 10 inch band and the 21st will be 3 months since surgery. They were aggressive because I'm self pay and only have 3 months free fills and I was fine with that. The first week after the last fill I could eat almost anything but only a small portion. Although I managed to gain almost five pounds.... (damn halloween candy) Then all the sudden I can't eat anything without throwing it up. I've lost 8 pounds in the last week. I'm doing just Protein shakes and liquids now. I called to get in for a slight unfill but I'm scared it will take the restriction I need away. If it's too full why could I eat fine the first week and now not any more? Could it have slipped?
  12. 3 months of free fills. She's aggressive too which I'm happy about because it's $250 a pop after that.
  13. I was self pay and paid 16,900 with only three months of follow up..
  14. I was self pay and got charged for two nights at a hotel when I didn't need them. I had the surgery at noon and was at my Mother's by five and that's with a HH repair as well.
  15. I'm so happy that I finally have some fill. It was pretty easy although I almost fainted. I layed down and she numbed me with spray then stuck the needle in. It looked pretty big but didn't hurt. The most that hurt was my port is still sore so poking around on that was a little uncomfortable. Then she had me stand up with the needle sticking out of me (this is the part I almost fainted at). She put 2cc's in and had me do a barrum swallow while we watched it on the x-ray thing. Then she put in another 2cc's and had me swallow more. She seemed happy with the results and so was I so far. On Clear liquids today and full liquids tomorrow then mushies for a day. I go back in 3 more weeks for another fill.
