I started soft food that early. With no fills I doubt as long as you chew good you'll get anything stuck. I never got anything stuck until my band was tight, then you KNOW when it's obstructed believe you me.

I was banded in August and had my third fill yesterday. Last night, I got something stuck and it feels like a heart attack! The pain is something else again. You'll know it if and when you get stuck.

I was banded also on the 9th of November I have yet to have my fill I am hoping that comes in December b/c I dont feel I have any restrictions but I am too scared to test it to see he put me on the mushie stage, my doctor told me I could eat anything I can mush with a fork and put it on a smaller plate of course protein first than vegetables
