I got her room ready last night, and I put dinner in the crock pot this morning. Tomorrow we are getting up and going to the meeting, then off to to the Plaza. We are staying on the plaza, and have tickets for the KC Ballet version of the NUTCRACKER... we had planned on some serious time in the hot tub and pool but her doctor has not ok'd it since she is still healing from her latest surgery........... She emailed this morning saying that she would be heading my way around Lunch.. (takes 3 hours to get here)................. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a rough night....... Cody was up at midnight puking and then Robby woke up about 3 a.m. with bad dreams..... then I was up at my normal 5a.m. putting stuff in the crock pot and Cody decides he is staying home from school today.... NOPE.. not an option........ he fought with his dad about it first and then he tried pulling the sympathy card on me....... little did he know I am not a pushover like his mother and going to school is NOT an option... told him that I would take him and pick him up today but that he was going.... and if he was indeed really sick the nurse could call me and then I would go get him.... (the real issue: he has been gorging on koolaid, chips, fudge, and he ate 5 biscuits with gravey last night) I told Charles that is wasn't good to let him just have a free for all on food and junk and Charles rolled his eyes at me........... also dad has not been enforcing the bedtime........ which is why he pulled the crap this morning.) I explained to Cody that I was not raised to just stay home when I didn't feel good, same with work....... you at least SHOW UP and then reevalute once there........... (his mom let him stay home all the time, and he helped her with the daycare kids) don't get me wrong she is a VERY good mother, but she is very noncombative and softspoken........ (polar opposite of me)............. anyway....... I'm ready for a great weekend!

I am sooooooooooooo stinking excited! One of my best friends in the whole entire world is coming up for the weekend! She just emailed me and plans to be here around 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.... We are planning to GO TO THE BANDWAGON meeting on Saturday (so Suzie I hope to meet you in person) and then she and I are off to the Coutry Club Plaza to either.. 1. Nutcracker 2. A Christmas Carol or 3. New Theater Restraunt........ and then staying somewhere on the Plaza..... NO KIDS, NO HUSBANDS, just us girls.................it has been 3 years since I've seen her.. she is my friend that had the Bypass in 2002, had a regain and is also the one who has suffered from depression and went into seclusion.... (so Suzie don't say anything to her about her surgery I'm not sure how she feels about it) but I LOVE THIS WOMAN... I'm almost teary just typing it...... she is the one I would call at 3:a.m. crying when I was going through the dark days of my divorce.... The dept of sorrow I felt when I realized I had almost lost her to depression........ was a huge black hole in my heart....... ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!! Please pray that the ice stays away so that she will come......... I will be taking pics.... Oh MY GOD........ I will be a house cleaning maniac tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning................... Well I was the dumbass who STARTED SMOKING after my divorce! Luckily for me the phase only lasted a few years... I stopped October 2005.. I got the flu and just stopped..... it was easy for me because I was never really physically addicted just mentally......... but it is the same time that I started repacking on the weight....... Terry: Set points........ oh yeah...... 224 is a big one for me, and I think that I hovered around this weight (206) for a while as well........ once I hit ONEderland... getting to the 170's will be my next set point and 160's....... well I don't EVER remember getting that low.......... The weatherman is calling for 1-3" of snow today... YIPPEEEE! NOT TracyK: Glad to hear your sister is OK! Haydee: It was good to hear from you yesterday! OK.. .gotta sign off for now.... have a great day! OH.... I've been TRYING to drink one of those protein bullets every morning this week to see if it helps..... the scale was 206 this morning.. so I'm hoping for a new low tomorrow! CTCD! P.s. Well I'm back.......... I had my doc appointment and then Cody to the dentist....... The nurse practicioner was REALLY happy with my weight loss... last November I was 258 and a bawling depressed mess... Also I hit Target and found 3 shirts on the 75% off rack... $3.24 each and they are cute enough for a base layer of work clothes............ gotta go for now.

Good Morning! Well... I'm off to get the LOVELY Pap and Thyroid bloodwork test today...... YIPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE scraped and poked and repoked and eventual butterfly............ going to get my hair cut while I'm out and going to also buy some color.... maybe I'll go different.......... who know..... For our employees Medical and Dependant Flex accounts can have $5000.00 per year..... I personally put my complete OUT OF POCKET MAX on mine in 2007 ($3900.00) and I have $200 left in my account, but I've used it for over the counter, pharmacy, eye exam, contacts and dental bills as well...... I had a $1500.00 copay, and each of my fills are billed at $29.66 co insurance........... (I've had 5) Talk to the insurance person and find out what your deductible and then what level it is covered for both the doctor and the hospital...... Using my flex account was by far the best thing I could of done.. (I used it for both the pysc eval and nutrition eval, since I had to have them done to qualify) I did have to call and fax in stuff .. but it was all paid by my flex card.

Dr K is a WONDERFUL resource for those that have to self pay.. LapBand in the US for under 10K is the best deal you will find. There are many doctors that will take various insurance so good luck to you.

Good Luck! Try finding out if your surgeon even has an opening at that time, and explain to the scheduler that if at all possible you want to be scheduled before Jan 1, 2008.... even if it means you go on a cancelation list....... 20% is 20% and is worth the shot! After your doc submits call the 800 on your card and ask for the determination department and follow up with them, try and find out who will be assigned your case and then make sure they are not off for the holidays and politely STAY ON THEM!!!!! GOOD LUCK!
