  1. I didn't have any trouble with the drainage from that incision; I would think one it quits draining and heals up you could put VitaminE oil or coco-cream on it and it may help with the scar tissue. Sorry I'm not much help!
  2. I bought a small 6-pack for $10 at the grocery; going to check Target and Walmart to see if they are less there. I got the banana shake - it's good -- a friend told me her 4 year old grandson loves the vanilla and her eldest daughter loves the strawberry and cream -- so I figure if I might buy the vanilla and have an assortment. As for GNC - my GNC doesn't seem to carry anything good I hear about -- have you considered going online to www.gnc.com? and ordering direct to avoid the pushy lady?
  3. Thanks Susan - will have to check it out -hadn't heard of it before.
  4. You sound like me Ash - I haven't found anything that I can tolerate - the best I've found is the Ensure Extra Protein -however that has a ton of carbs. I haven't tried the truffle flavors yet - didn't care for any of the "fruit" flavors that I ordered. Luckily Bearded likes them so they won't go to waste.
  5. Me too -- wonder if I can find my lifetime Jenny Craig card ... or if they still have me on their roster ...
  6. I've been to Oatman - it's an interesting place - fun too - wild west show and lots of interesting shops.
  7. Hang in there Bob - you're doing great and in the long run, it will be worth all the suffering you're going through now!
  8. I like that Ruthi. Daisy -- USED to be - that is in the past -- remember the good times and let go of the bad and move on - LOVE isn't s'posed to hurt or make you cry - it's s'posed to make you happy -- I think Bill is ready to move on but doesn't have the balls to tell you it's over -- he's distancing himself little by little ... let him go.
  9. Bearded has been sick the past 2 days - says it's something he ate (I think it's flu) ... and he gave it to me -- I feel okay this morning; however, haven't eaten anything yet - just sipping on coffee to see if I can get rid of my headache - didn't have any caffeine yesterday so thinking it's a caffeine headache - have too much to do today to be sick so hoping yesterday was the worst and it's over .... *fingers crossed* Glad to hear you're finally feeling better!
  10. Well just leave them at home then -- LOL
  11. I too am very fair skinned so don't spend too much time out in the sun. Bearded, on the other hand, loves the heat and the sun ... we do have a community pool so bring a swimsuit just to be safe ... also have a good friend nearby who has a pool in her backyard ... she doesn't know we've had the VST so we'd have to be careful what we say if we go over there. The hotels require a room key to get to their pools so we'd have to spend one night in the hotel to be able to do that - which is always an option too!
  12. IF he hadn't had a comment, it would mean he was REALLY sick ... that's the ONLY time he doesn't have a comment ....
  13. I was so sick yeterday - I was in bed before 9:30 - slept straight through until 6:30 this morning -- hoping it was just a 24 hour bug - it certainly wasn't fun I can tell you that.
  14. No there's nothing in there you need to blend up - the tofu is super soft and if you cut it small enough it will mush right in your mouth. I ate this on full liquids! Hope you like it - it was yummy.
  15. Rainy day? We don't get those very often ...
  16. Well outside of the house they aren't! We would hate to have Daisy arrested in LV for indecent exposure! Besides, as hot as it is, things might burn~
  17. That's great - you'll love Dr. Aceves and his entire team -- your daughter is lucky to have a mom like you!
  18. Tell him there are several other men on the site - he won't be the only one - and we promise not to pick on him too much -- LOL ... only kidding - he needs to know about this too -- and you knowing about it is great as well... WELCOME
  19. We weren't kidding and you're not a perfect stranger. It's hotter than hades here, so bring cool clothes - lightweight - maybe one nice outfit if we're able to get into a show ... we'll figure out everything else once you're here --
  20. Stimpy - you've done a great job in 2 weeks -- I am sure your liver will be great and that the surgery will proceed without complications -- keep us posted!
  21. How convenient that this thread was unlocked when WASa isn't available to respond. I think it should be reclosed. IMHO
  22. Welcome ACES and congrats on deciding on the sleeve -- you'll be on the losing side before you know it and hopefully be able to put the bad memories behind and remember only the happy. I love the name Gracie! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. someone always has an answer.
  23. Why is your name Oregon Rose but your signature Oregon Daisy? Just curious
