  1. Janine You can dip as low as 800 a day. Good luck with that though...I'm just too darn hungry to do it.
  2. Angie, log in Polaris Shopping Place...that's the mall. Or log in "The Great Indoors" which will put you right next to the food court. It is right off of 71, before you get to the outer belt of 270. I can't wait to meet everyone.
  3. Whitepants, PBing or PB's are what you descibed, that feeling of tightness, but where the food comes back up and out. It's not like a full regergitation (sp) because the food didn't hit the lower stomach and there isn't stomach acid involved. But it stands for Productive Burp. Typically you'll get some slime with it too, which is the body's way of trying to help the food move. It's super thick saliva. I have problems with eggs at times. Really I think it's because they are so soft we don't chewy them well enough. But they have a pretty tight structure, unless you are eating them sunnyside up and they are super runny. You might try adding cottage cheese for extra Protein and to keep them from cooking too hard, or just lay off the eggs until your restriction eases up a tad. I can eat more at night than in the morning which I believe is pretty common. Have a good weekend.
  4. BG I was thinking about you this morning. I'm glad you all had a good time. B, Hope you have a nice ride. Today is my day off from exercise, I did a straight 6 days and I need to rest. XO everyone.
  5. Very true TX, very true. I can exercise, it's the shit food I need to get rid of. And I'm not eating sugar, just sour cream and cheese! UGH!
  6. I wrote you in my planner, with ink! I'll be there.
  7. Yeah, I think those skills of yours which would land you a sugar someone would work better on a Daddy than a Momma. She's not willing to pay for the surgery, nor would I expect her to. So long as the sparkly jewelry keeps coming I'm not going to complain. But ugh about the skin. I've turned some kind of corner, perhaps it is the more than 60% loss from my highests known weight, where my skin is looking horrible. I know we talk about the stomach ass, now the 4th/armpit titties are killing me. My inner thighs are horrific too.
  8. BG, You're doing fantastic with the weight loss! Rock on chica. Nothing like a vegetarian fart maker though, well vegans are worse! PS in November? That's wonderful. My insurance will cover the panni too, but I have to sit at a stable weight for 6 months before hand. For their purposes my goal weight is 145...I'll keep on losing after that I hope, but I'll go to the doctor's office with rocks in my pockets to make it look stable! Like you the rest will be on me. I have to get my legs and arms done. There's no question. I joke with Alison when ever gift giving time happens that I want plastic surgery
  9. I say Polaris is probably a good bet. For consistency and ease of finding it and for Angie driving in from up north!
  10. What songs do you have on your MP3 player? What songs get you super stoked for exercise? Come on share, maybe you'll inspire someone to change up their playlist. Right now my favorite list that you'd find on my iPod: Superwoman Alicia Keys As I Am Golden Jill Scott Beautifully Human: Words And Sounds Vol. 2 Put Your Hands On Me Joss Stone Introducing Joss Stone Candyman Christina Aguilera Back to Basics Not Tonight (Ladies Night)Lil' Kim & TLC & Missy Eliot 8 Minutes To Sunrise Jill Scott Collaborations No One Alicia Keys As I Am I Wanna Thank Ya Angie Stone Stone Love I'm Concieded...I Gotta Reason Remy Ma Hate On Me Jill Scott The Real Thing - Words and Sounds, Vol. 3 Baby Baby Baby Joss Stone Introducing Joss Enough Crying Mary J. Blige The Breakthrough Running No Doubt Rock Steady Alternative & Punk Thank You Dido No Angel Pop That Kind Of Love Angie Stone Feat. Betty Wright Stone Love
  11. Drainage in your office? You've got to love NYC. Why wouldn't you call the nurse and have her do it? Are you trying to be Super Woman? By the way, when you get back to running, and I'm assuming you're not running yet, and if you listen to music get Alicia Key's As I Am CD. The song "Superwoman" is an amazing song to run to. It's inspiring.
  12. I'll PM ya TX, actually I'm a 38-D. I don't care who knows. I'd love some cheap bras. Let me know when you're going. I didn't lose a cup size, apparently. I did go from a 42 to a 38 though. I started at a 44. You all want to know something ironic, really ironic not like sunshine on a rainy or a free meal when you've already paid? 5 years ago I lost about 90 from my all time high of 338 so I was around 250 and I got a breast reduction. My tatas were HUGE, now they're just regular. Well I'm really thinking that my breasts are going to shrink to nothing by the time I get to goal and I'm thinking augmentation may be in my future. Reduced breasts to implants, that's ironic. And thanks for the well wishes for Zoe. I really appreciate your kind words. She's going to milk the injury to be sure, but who wouldn't?
  13. Woo Hoo Zoe isn't broken, just bruised. Do I get hard core babe status for running in the rain? It wasn't my plan but I got rained on while running. It was cold and miserable. My day has gone from blah to blah to the tenth power. I'm resisting the urge to go buy bras,(I tried some on earlier but no purchasing)...I just paid bills and there's really not money for new stuff, but damn! Is the Justificaiton Squad out there? Can you help me just go and do it?
  14. TammyJ Look at you nearly to goal!!!!!!!!!!! You will absolutely be there by your anniversary! Glad to see you dropping in.
  15. I'll be there, promise! I do prefer afternoon to morning, but I'd be able to do either.
  16. Looks like Zoe cracked her rib today. I'm waiting for my Ex to call with the results from the X-ray. Zoe jumped down some stairs and landed on an entertainment center. So ugh. Also, I tried on new bras and I've lost a cup size. You'd think I'd be happy, but somehow I'm just not. B Damn, that sucks all the way around. Glad poochy pie is on the mend. BG I nearly called you from Whole Foods to ask what's that soy beverage you were waxing about earlier, however I have Dan's number programed in my phone. I get to shop at WF for a kid I feed. He has serious food allergies so all his stuff comes from there. Later
  17. I've become a wine drinker and I have to agree it gets me buzzed more quickly. I think it is due to weight loss, not being banded.
  18. Just let me know the time and I'll hire a sitter. Woo Hoo, I'll get to meet you all!
  19. Can you shower at the gym? You know at least she has an interest. K is gonna be a girlly girl!!! I was! Zoe is not. She isn't interested in much, my little flitterer. Actually looks like swimming is going to be her thing. Next year (she's scheduled to death with pre-school, regular-school and after school care) we're going to get involved in the area's swim team... I started scrapping 2005 last night and OMG, I forgot how she scalped herself because she wanted to be a boy with boy hair. We had 9 months of really horrible hair. Nap during her class.
  20. And 12 pounds is a far cry from almost weighs less than you. Also when you consider I'm a half a foot shorter than you and no where near a size 12, you are itty bitty. But thanks for the thought.
  21. Listen to you--Talking ass poundings... Sleep is for wimps. Who's dance class is tonight, yours or DD? And what are you doing between 3 and 4:30? One and half hours to shower and pick up kid can be shaved to 30 minutes. Why are you showereing? I see a nap in there. Not that I have to tell you but take tons of makeover/HM pictures. You can do a mini scrapbook of the day and DD will love it! Saturday looks like a good day to sleep. You'll be fine, get some caffiene unless you are decaffinated. And quit your bitchin'. I see someone who is busy because she is 1. putting her health and fitness first. 2. Surrounded by people she loves. 3. Living the hell out of her life. 4. Giving back some of that love. We all should be so lucky. And again, sleep is for wimps. And sure I'll take your shorts unless by the time I actually see you again I'm too small. Mailing them probably is a long shot.
  22. I'll have a pouty, foot stomping, this is really sucky pity party for you, Julie. I've got your back.
  23. I'm going to be 40 April 15th. When is your birthday?
  24. My measures aren't that far off. Funny most things like the granola I eat in my yogurt I always dip out of the bag with a 1/4 cup measurer. I looked at SparkPeople but I use the BodyBugg system for tracking. It does look like it provides more information than fitday.com. But I used the heck out of fitday, so I'm not knocking it! I typically eat 1200-1500 calories a day. There are days when I've worked out quite a bit or when I did long distance bike riding this past summer and fall that I HAD to eat more. If I didn't I'd wake up chewing on my pillow! (okay, that's an exaggeration, but you get my point.) Now that I'm running, yes running, 3 miles a day, 3 times a week I notice that same kind of hunger. I try to keep it healthy though. As for food combining I remember that being big in the vegetarian circles back in the early 80s. I haven't heard much about it since. I say do whatever works for you! Do you have reflux? Not to be redundant but I'm trying hard not to high fructose corn syrup. It's everywhere, but it's a cool process. I'm also moving toward eating more sustainably produced foods. But that's got a lot to do with the politics of how food is sold and transported...I'll save that for a later day. Any way, being mindful of lables ingredient lists is new and helpful for me. I've been reading nutrition lables forever, but not so much the ingredient lists. It helps me make better choices.
  25. I thought my ears were burning! LOL. I'll try extra hard to make the next one. I want to meet you all as well.
