At my place you can choose. I'm a wussie when it comes to needles so of course I get numbed first!!

Just NOT Working
Hi Kat! You may need to increase your calorie intake. Your body is probably holding onto everything it can because it feels as though it may be in "starvation" mode. Try increasing to 1200 calories a day!!! Good luck! You will get there. My body's weird too. I can be good all week and not lose a single pound but the minute I stick something bad or high in calories in me I lose 2 lbs the next day. It's crazy!!!

Thing most frustrating about friends and family about the LB...
Good for you. Also very kindly remind them that the LB is a tool to help you lose weight. It's not going to lose weight for you. You still have to watch what you get and exercise!

Biggest Loser
Anyone out there work out to the Biggest Loser DVD's? I borrowed the Biggest Loser Workout DVD part 1 from a friend of mine and I absolutely love it. I've never sweated so much during a workout in my life! Just was wondering what other people thought of it and are there any others they recommend? I also do taebo, P90 and during the winter Walk Away the Pounds.

How did you decide?
My decision was pretty simple. The original time I was researching weight loss surgery it was over 4 years ago and lap band was new. In doing my research back then I saw that LB was done laproscopically. Which I know they do GB that way now but they didn't at the time. I also like the fact that my weight loss is much slower with LB then it would have with GB. I didn't wanna have to worry about a bunch of excess skin. Then there was the whole cutting and rerouting stuff and I was not comfortable with that at all nor did I want to deal with any of the complications from GB. I realize there can be complications from LB but I did not have any and the risk seemed much lower. IT may not be like that now but back when I 1st researched LB it was. So that was why I chose LB. Even when I decided I was ready I never went back and researched GB I knew I did not want that.

Honest Answers Needed on Restriction
- Love it or Hate it?
Love my band. I have had no problems whatsoever. 6 months in (almost) and 61 lbs down!- Eating Before a Fill
I don't have to do anything special before or after a fill. i've eaten right before a fill and did just fine. I usually get my fills done on Saturday morning so I go home and drink a protein shake and then have a normal lunch and dinner and i'm fine.- Fun Goals
Mine is getting my fat calves into a pair of hooker boots!- hello everyone,
Hi welcome! You've come to the right place for support!!!- please help
Prior to banding I had acid reflux bad. I also had a hiatal hernia that my doc repaired. Since I got the LB done I've only had to take my medicine about 4 times and i've been banded going on 6 months now.- please help
But, the statement that the LB is a better choice than the GB simply because of the weight of the Patient is just plain wrong. HH _______________ HH EXCUSE ME FOR STATING MY OPINION JUST AS YOU CLEARLY ARE AND WE ARE NOT BERATING YOU FOR IT!!! Sabertooth just do what you want to do we are all giving you our opinion's. Good luck hon whichever procedure you decide!!! We will be here to support you on your decision and not berate you for it.- NSVs!!!!!
Congrats!!! I can't wait until I no longer fit into plus size clothes!- What do I need....
Underwear should be fine. I would avoid jeans and any kind of pants that button up. I wore stretch/flannel/pajama pants for about 5 days.- please help
I am not even 6 months out and i'm at 61 lbs. it all depends on the person. Seeing how you only have 75 lbs to lose the LB is a much better procedure for you than GB. I would not feel comfortable with my insides being cut and rerouted. Good luck. - Love it or Hate it?
