What do I need....

hello everyone, I will be banded on Fri and was wondering how comfortable will underwear be. Do I need to purchase big ol grannie underpants. Also how about regular clothes any recommendations?

Well, that all depends on your current underware. If your undees are usually tight and binding, you might need some grannies. However, I already had some bigger underware (duh, cause I am bigger) so I didn't need anything bigger that what I had.

My big cut is right at my waist line, so anything tight is a bad idea. I wear Lovepats underwear, which are the best I've found. Very comfy, non-binding and seamless. They also accommodate any swelling, which I have as a side effect of a hysterectomy four years ago. This surgery was so much easier than that one. I still appreciated the Lovepats.

Had no problem at all with regular panties. Wore elastic waisted shorts and a t-shirt. Worked as jammies when I got home :-P

Underwear should be fine. I would avoid jeans and any kind of pants that button up. I wore stretch/flannel/pajama pants for about 5 days.
