Tiffany has Surgery!
Hey this is cool, more Seattle people!! I'm actually from Wenatchee, but have lived in Mill Creek for 8 years now. So Tiffany is doing great! That is so good to hear, hope she has a fast recovery. How was it being the spectator this time? And they have a new Dr?? That is awesome, take a little pressure off of Dr. Almanza. Wannalise, if you come back this summer we will all have to get together, looks like there are 4 of us already. Ouroborous where in Seattle do you live? Are the two of you scheduled to come home tomorrow or the next day? Well enjoy while you are there!!

My thoughts from Week #2 Post-Op - Little Miss Sunshine has left the building!
VV I have always loved your posts, and i can totally understand when you get down a little bit. Girl you just keep doing what you are supposed to and that weight will come off!! Get rid of your scale, and go by how your clothes fit! It really makes a difference. I keep losing inches even when I'm not losing pounds! I finally took another 2 pounds off, and really I could care less! I already knew the scale would budge, because my clothes were looser. So I wish you ALL the best in your weight loss journey!!

Woohooo... losing again!
Hey Lee Hey sweetie!! You are doing FAB too!! I love my size right now, but I'm determined to get just a little smaller! I know that I would have never made my goal, if I did not have the sleeve!!!!!! Love my sleeve! The band just does not do it for me!! And Lee, you will be a size 10 before you know it!!!

Woohooo... losing again!
Hi all I have been a slow loser, but I'm very happy with my results!! I just took another 2lbs off so I feel great. I went into this journey knowing that it would take me awhile to get all of the weight off. For some reason, I have not stressed about it. It is hard to believe because I stress about everything!! I can wear a size 8 (snug) or a 10 loose, so even if I only lose my last 6lbs that will be fine with me. If someone would have told me a year ago I would be wearing a size 10 again I would have said SHUT UP!!! LOL So good luck to us one and all!!:crying:

New here!
Hi and welcome!!! That is so awesome that you and your husband are on the same journey!! My hubby would never even consider it, although he does need to loose weight. He is a big baby when it comes to surgery. Good luck to both of you, and happy losing!

Sad story :(((((
Thank you Coopersmama I know there is something out there for me, just got to be patient!! That is not a word I have used as much as I need to. I spend between 2-3 hours a day looking online for a job, something has got to come open for me. How are you doing? PS 50 is the new 20, I just feel like too much has happened since I hit that mark :party4:

Sad story :(((((
The retirement is one thing I DON"T have to worry about, they make it pretty easy for you to roll over. I only have 10 more years to work, so I want that money to add up as fast as possible. I made a pact with myself that I would not work past 60, and now that I'm 50 the clock is ticking. There is nothing i can do about the money they took out of my check, as far as that is concerned it is a done deal. I still plan on writing a letter to the President of the company about how I was treated. But i need to wait until I'm a little more CALM!!

Brittu So you are my neighbor!! I live right by Jackson High school, we walk the track almost every night. We need to get together! So you worked for Micr........!! Well I worked for Les Schwab, and drove to Bellevue everyday! So happy that your new venture is working out so well, good luck to you.

Sad story :(((((
Hi Chancie I saw the writing on the wall for over a year, but I just did not want to think that I would be part of the downsizing. I saw it happen in lots of stores around me, all of us seasoned veterens were put out to pasture! I was started to be stressed before work everyday too, so this is almost a blessing. I will be able to relax a little more. I worked in retail management for 20 years before I came to work for this company, so I understand all the nights, weekends and holidays! My family always hated trying to plan anything around my schedule. Take care my dear, and put some feelers out!

Thank you Barbara! I know that I'm just old school enough that seniority still means something to me! But to the new whipper snappers it means nothing, it is all about the bottom line Something is out there, i just have to wait for God to bring it to me!

Sad story :(((((
Thanks Wannalise!! I really do know that God has something better out there for me, just tough to see it right now. I feel just like you did, I dedicated everything to them, I worked every Saturday for the last 11 years!!! I will NOT do that again, even if it means I have to take a big pay cut I will find something enjoyable to do. I have a lot in my retirement, but refuse to touch that, I will roll it into the new company! You know after all of these post I know understand that I'm not the only one who has been through such a tough time. I still have a few mixed emotions, I have had lots of texts from my guys, and I miss them too. Life goes on....I know it will weather I'm ready or not! :sad0:

Just had the VSG!
Dan Consider yourself a very lucky man that you did not have the lap band! It is a complete and total pain in the butt!!! So glad to hear that you are doing so well, good luck!!!

Trying to kick my diet coke habit pre-op, anyone else?
HA Ha I actually like the mocha's they have a 7-11, just don't even bother with them anymore. Plus not working, there is no reason to go out and buy a coffee. I'm so glad that I have never really been hooked on soda, it is hard enough with coffee!! And I WON"T be giving that up anytime soon.

LOL You know i'm actually looking into going into health care!! I love people, and have a soft heart! So maybe that is what I need to do! Thank you for putting it into perspective! I have to realize that life goes on!! Just a little tough some times.

Sad story :(((((
Hi again ladies Okay I'm trying so hard NOT to be pissed!!! I sent my manager an email on Friday asking him that he NOT take my account balance out of my vacation hours that I have coming. Well I get an email from him today, stating that is exactly what he did!!! For those who have not been following this, I work for a retail tire store. I have had an account with them for 25 years!!!!! Long before I ever started working for them. There was NO need to take my account balance put of my last check! I have 127 hours of vacation coming to me, I owe appr. $1100 on my account. The bad thing is I have to report to the unemployment office that I got paid for X amount of dollars! Which I won't because they will have taken my account balance out of it. To make a long story a little bit shorter, I will get screwed!!! I will claim it and then not get any unemployment for weeks because of the amount I'm supposed to get! But DID NOT get!!! To say the least I'm PISSED!!!!! I asked Friday, when I knew it was my last day for him NOT to take my account balance, the bad thing it is up to him!! So of course he took it!! I have NEVER missed a payment in 25 years! I will never undersatnd why he did this!! Sorry to ramble.....I'm just so upset about all of this!! Help!
