  1. Hey Buddy Sorry I missed telling you happy surgery day!! I feel bad for you, the first 2 days are really bad. By the 3rd day it really does get much better, I wish you a speedy recovery!
  2. Good luck buddy!!!!!! You will do great!!
  3. Sorry I missed telling you happy surgery day!!!! I hope all went well for you and you are on your way to the bench!!
  4. You are doing sooooo good!!!! What are you doing to lose your weight so fast?? You are passing me up and I had my surgery first!! JK I'm very happy for you!! I have had a tough time sticking to any type of eating schedule, I don't know what is wrong with me! I think it is just pure boredom, since I'm not working.
  5. I just started losing my hair a couple weeks ago, I just hit my 4 month mark. So I guess it hits at about 3 1/2 months. I'm not the best at making sure I get all of my protein in, so I'm the one to blame on the hair loss!! Don't get too upset it will grow back, make sure you get your protein and vitamins in and you will be fine. Good luck!!
  6. congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I'm 4 months out and my hair is coming out on a regular basis!!! I hate it, I brush it and it falls out, but you know if I go bald I will still be skinny and that is more important!! I have been bald before (chemo) for a whole year! I can deal with it!
  8. Sorry to hear that you have had some complications!! I hope all is better now. Your face looks very thin!! Keep up the good work! Bernadette
  9. PLEASE NO PEEING!!! LOL!!! Great job MISSY
  10. Honestly NO I would not want to be a size 0...I could not even imagine at my height. I would look like a walking stick! My goal is to be comfortable in a size 8, no smaller than that! My friend that is so thin is not healthy looking at all! She knows it and hates that fact.
  11. I have a very close friend who is naturally thin, and I mean thin!! She has tried over and over to understand my problems with my weight, but she just can't get it!! She is maybe a size 0...a size I will never see, she eats all the time trying to gain weight, and all I have to do is look at food and gain! Sometimes life is just not fair!
  12. I had the same PCP for over 10 years and she always stressed eating correctly and excersizing...as if I have not already done that!! She would not do anything but give me guidelines of what I should do, she also tried to send me to a nutitionist. I KNOW what made me fat, I also know what it took to get me to this weight!! I would much rather have the surgery and be limited by the AMOUNT of food I can eat, than to be harped at for what I can do to change it! I tried every diet known to man, diets DON"T work!! Sorry, got a little worked up there!
  13. CWalker Nope!! Having a c-section is a lot harder than the sleeve or the band! I have also had a tummy tuck and it was harder than those! You will be fine, the pain is so much less than the c-section. Good luck to you!!!
  14. Diane So sorry to hear that you have had a rough start, it will get better! I promise! My first 3 days were the hardest, on both my lap band and my revision. Second day is always the hardest. All I can tell you is that everyday will get better and better!! Good luck and happy losing!
  15. I could probably name a thousand different foods that I like, and hot dogs would not be on that list! But I know we all have different tastes. My latest craving is for Sea salt and vinager chips!!!! NUMMY!! I could eat the whole bag, not that it would not come right back up! Why is it chips, nachos, popcorn etc go down so easy! I guess those are my sliders!
  16. I eat them all the time, great protein and the best all around nut for you!
  17. BJ Yes this topic is just kindof sad! I saw it happen to me, but not nearly as bad as I see it with my sisters who are more overweight than I was. People treat you like you have something they could catch! It is just plain RUDE!!
  18. This post makes me so sad! I can't believe the way society is theses days! I always felt invisible when I was heavier too, is is all just people ignoring us? Or is it us trying to not be seen?? I have noticed that men talk to me now, even go out of their way to me nicer to me. Makes me happy and sad, I'm still just little old me! My inside has not changed at all, just my outside. Ourborous, I would flirt with you if I knew how....it has been so many years that I don't know if I can remember how to do it!! LOL We all will chat with you anytime, you are interesting! Good luck all!
  19. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! That is so cool!! You have lost a lot already! Great job and glad to know that you had a good time in Tijuana!
  20. Cool, so you guys are very close to me! I was in Ballard Tuesday and Lynnwood today, such a small world. My hubby works in Shoreline. My son lived in Wallinford for many years. Gotta love the rain!! NOT! How is your girlfriend doing? Hopefully everything is well! Good luck!
  21. I have used a straw very early out, and I have not had any trouble getting my fluids in. I think you just need to make sure you don't gulp air with it.
  22. Hey guys this was a really OLD post???
  23. Stacey Congrats sleeve sista!!!!!!!! So happy you have done it and it is behind you!! The rest is gravy....well maybe not gravy but pretty cool!! I'm also glad that you have someone there who will help you through all of this, listen to her she knows what she is talking about! The more you walk the faster you heal! Every surgery I have had, I have walked as soon as possible and as much as possible. I have had upwards of 20 surgeries if not more (I really need to count them) Good luck, happy losing and keep us posted!!
  24. Tiffany So glad to see you posting!!! Glad everthing has went well and you will be going home tomorrow!! Hugs to you sweetie!! Good luck and happy losing!
