  1. I am so glad your son is okay. Thank you for sharing.
  2. Depends on what stage you are at. Are you on liquids? If so, don't eat any solids. The sherbet was okay.
  3. Don't worry, its not placed in the groin area. It is placed just near the waist band. You can't feel it unless you really push on it or you lay down and feel for it. Julie
  4. Hi Pat, protein shakes are your friend right now. Congrats on getting banded.
  5. PB is productive burp. Its similar to vomitting. Saliva and/or food come back up.
  6. Hi Justin, I've been banded 10 months and I'm down around 50 lbs. I love being banded. It is great to feel restriction and not overeat anymore.

  13. Shirley, just make sure you have a follow up surgeon in your area in case there are issues. Julie
  14. If I am reading this correctly you are down 25 lbs in less than 5 weeks. That is a ton of weight to lose in that short of time. Keep up the good work and don't compare yourself to your friend.
  15. I would definitely buckle up and go see your surgeon to get back on the right track. We are all human. It will be okay.
  16. Hi Becca, it sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the good work.
  17. Hi Bernie, welcome to lapband talk forum. Congrats on being banded. You will love it. Julie
  18. Your dad shouldn't be able to eat more than a cup at a time. He is consuming way too much food. He should only be able to eat a very small 2 oz portion of meat at a time as well. He definitely is not tight enough. He needs to be honest with his surgeon. 5 months to lose 35 lbs is not very good.
  19. Christina, glad you are feeling better. Congrats on getting banded.
  20. I have a beer a day and I can still lose. The carbonation doesn't bother me..
  21. Yes, you should feel fine 2 weeks post op. I felt great in about 5 days.
  22. Good for you! Keep up the good work.
