  1. Once you start to lose weight chances are your diabetes will go away. I take 5 pills a day without a problem. I can take a standard pill size without having to split it. You may have to check with your pharmacist to see if you can split your pills. Good luck with your surgery. Julie

  19. Dragonfly, the surgeon typically leaves the band empty when they place it. The stomach swells so that is why. As far as fills go, my surgeon costs $200 a fill. Julie
