  8. How have you done without a fill? That is fabulous. You should feel some relief. Julie
  9. Stacy, it sounds like you are eating really healthy. How many ounces of protein can you get in at a time? I can only eat 1-2 oz at a meal. If you are consuming say 4 oz, you need a fill.
  10. Stacy, roughly how much food can you consume in a day?
  11. I'll call Doctor McKeen's office and find out for you. Julie
  12. Teacher, that is way too much food. I can eat a sandwich, but I can only eat 1/4 then I have to wait say 30 min to finish the other 1/4. I cannot eat an entire sandwich nor can I eat a taco and pinto beans together. It takes me 1 hour to eat a taco. Hope this helps. I love my restriction though. Julie
  13. Sharon, lower your calories to 800-1k a day and you will lose. Julie
  14. If you don't get the full signal from the band you need another fill. You shouldn't have to wait until the next day to get the full feeling. Make sure you always eat your solid protein first. That way you will stay fuller longer. Good luck.
  15. Hi Shelly, where do you live in CA? I live in Gilroy and I was banded by Dr. McKeen in San Jose. I've lost 50 lbs so far. Julie
  16. Sharon, make sure you are eating solid proteins. They last the longest. Good luck. Julie
  17. Definitely no physical therapy required.
  18. Jello, broth, popsicles, juice, water, protein shakes, soup, gasx strips, heating pad. I think that is a good start. congrats on your surgery. Julie

  22. Welcome to lapband talk forum. As far as nutrition goes the best advice I can give you is solid protein. It will fill you up and it will take longer to get hungry. Check out the food forum. Julie
