  1. Amen! Not only that, I think that the doctor that implanted her should be put up for child support the same a way a wayward father would be. He is just as wrong as she is IMO.:lunch:
  2. Surely not!:lunch:
  3. Love your post BabyGirl. You speak the truth. It irks the crap out of me to struggle to pay for my one child, while they can just keep popping them out like puppies and get more government money.
  4. I am finally able to get on here! yay! I haven't been able to log on all day. That is awful when I am at home all day with nothing but cleaning to do. I changed my bedroom around out of nothing else to do. I don't know if I could handle doing it to try to sell. Good luck with that Glouc! Donna-I love the new pic. One day I will work up the nerve to put one out there. Diva-if you are around, I meant to tell you that I love your new pic too!
  5. Here lately, I LOVE shopping. Shopping is AWESOME! I guess that means it wasn't work.
  6. It didn't work for me. I have only changed the sheets and blankets on the beds. Oh, I did go spend money, but that doesn't really count as work does it?
  7. Wow, it has been very quiet on here this weekend. Apparently, I am the only one without a life. Happy Sunday everyone!
  8. Hello. Hello. Hello. Anyone out there? there? there?
  9. Send it to me next!
  10. Congrats on your rebuckle! This thread has had me laughing so hard I cried. 8-)
  11. I second that emotion!
  12. Ok, you two have great husbands. I can only hope that when DH grows up, that he is as sweet as your DHs are. I am jealous!
  13. I sincerely hope not. I have already given birth to the minature version of DH. I don't know if I could take it if DS started acting anything like MIL. I shudder at the thought. You take that back. ***said with hands on what passes as my hips***
  14. No offense taken Beth. I knew what you meant.
  15. She hung up on him after telling him that she didn't need our hamburger helper. DH was incredulous that she actually called asking to "borrow" food. I guess he didn't think of the butter from the other day as food. The more he talked, the more upset he got. I don't know if I mentioned this the other day, but BIL came over to open cans (since she was too lazy to go and buy a can opener). I had DH's dinner sitting on the counter. BIL helped himself to DH's dinner while in the kitchen opening his cans. DH was fuming. Well, after talking to MIL, he started fuming about that all over again. It was a sight to behold. He was furious with her. He even threatened to block her phone calls. I doubt he would actually do it, but he was upset to the point of doing it last night.
  16. But you forgot, she is His special chosen one.
  17. That is awesome G4E! It is funny that you mentioned that because I was wondering this morning how much more weight I will have to lose to actually be able to see them. luluc-we are about the same height, how much did you lose before you could see your collar bones? MIL update-DH had it out with MIL last night. She called asking to "borrow" a box of hamburger helper. He told her that this was crazy. He told her that he found it funny that when she lived with her sister (in the same city), she not only couldn't be bothered with calling us, but she couldn't be bothered with her only grandson, but NOW she wants to call to borrow food? WTF? He said that people don't f*cking borrow food! I have to give DH props for standing up to the crazy MIL.
  18. No words, just hugs. (((((((green)))))))
  19. ***running off to BL thread to read...
  20. Ok, so obviously I have missed something since I have been having major troubles getting on here from home. What is the BL thread? Where can I find it to read all of you meanies?
  21. Morning! Snow again? When do you all stop having snow? Or should the question be, do you ever stop having snow?
  22. DS was like that except he won't eat peanut butter. Now he is the human vacuum. He inhales it all (I often ask if he even bothered to chew:huh2:). He will eat anything once (except if he knows it has cheese). He isn't even 12 yet, so I am scared of my grocery bills for the next few years.
  23. Truthfully, if I only had to cook for myself, I would probably cook everyday. I can't experiment on my family the way that I would for just me. You could go wild with recipes just cooking for yourself. You should try it.
  24. I try not to buy the ones with pasta or rice in them. That pretty much cuts what I will buy in half. My doctor does say protein first, but he doesn't really say low or no carb. I have been eating some carbs (I'm sure that is why my weight isn't going away as fast as I would like), but trying to not have an all out carb fest (like I would have before banding).
  25. I will follow a recipe the first time. After that, I will change it based on my family's reaction, or if I thought it was missing something. I have a bad habit of combining recipes, sometimes with pretty good results.
