  1. I did that this week with Lean Cuisine for lunch. That is what got me to thinking about Nutrasystem. I might just stick with this for a while and see how it goes.
  2. Recipe please!?!?!?!?!:wink2:
  3. I am pretty much looking for assistance with the prepackaged food. I have been eating pretty much what I want, but I know that my weight loss is not as good as it could be if I ate differently. I don't always eat what they (my family) eat, but it would help me if I had another (easy) option available if I can't think of something to eat. I have eaten so much baked fish and baked chicken that I am SICK of them.
  4. I have a question. Have any of you tried Nutrisystem since banding so that you don't have to think of something to eat everyday? I am thinking about something like that because I am out of ideas of food to eat.
  5. Is your DH my DH's long lost twin or something? LOL
  6. That's exactly the response he is looking for.:tt1:
  7. I would have sworn you were talking about my DH. I can say my back hurts, and he will tell me that he "knows" how to make it feel much better. Sadly, he gets upset if I don't want to be "cured".
  8. PJTP-Hello everyone. SNT-I hope you are feeling better today. Get you some phenagren if you have to. Don't suffer in silence. Tap-How on earth did you notice the owl stain? Susan-your teacher should have been beaten for doing that to you. The MIL called yesterday. She didn't want to know what I cooked. Instead, she wanted to know if I had an "extra" can opener and an "extra" stick of butter. WTF? I told her that I don't buy "extras". hmph
  9. Thanks again. It is great to know I have someone to turn to.
  10. Thank you, Kat. Your posts always hit the nail on the head. I think you are completely right about this. I can only hope he wakes up soon.
  11. ROFLMAO! You two are so funny.
  12. Please do! It wouldn't take much with the legal drugs that she takes. One little shove and she would hit the floor. Sorry to hear that you have a crappy one too. I know a few people (myself included) that could use a good attitude adjustment. Also, you will have to get in line behind me to watch Beth give the smackdown!:tt2:
  13. luluc-good luck on your fill today. I am not sure how I feel about my fill. It was TOM when I got it, so now I have to see if the restriction will go away with it. If the personal costs are out weighing the professional/financial, then I don't blame you for giving up the return to work. Good luck with whatever you decide! Ebony/Beth, come on down! I could use the extra muscle to help me.
  14. That's what is funny. Before she moved near us, he has NEVER acted like a mama's boy. He would talk about how he didn't understand how his own mother takes no interest in her grandson. They have argued so many times over her lack of any type of interest in our everyday life. That's why I don't understand what her nearness has done to him.
  15. I tried that, but it made my gray stand out even more because they are only around my temples and the very edge of my hair. I figure DH and his family is the cause of my new gray hair. His mother called just to be sure I didn't go ahead and cook. hmph!
  16. DH has one gray in his beard. He has none on his head. Instead, he is going bald. He has been going bald since his late twenties. He was in denial. He kept saying that the barber was messing up his hair line (instead of realizing that his hair line was receding). Now there is no doubt about the half moon shape across the top of his head. He shaves it everyweek in hopes of no one knowing he is bald. Ok, on a different note. Apparently, DH doesn't understand that I didn't cook so that his mom couldn't mooch my food. He seems to think it was because I had an adjustment this week. He is still in denial.
  17. My gray tends to stick out, literally. They are wild and won't be tamed by anything. I put in fairly light highlights to cover the gray. That way if they catch the light, you can't tell if it is gray or a highlight.
  18. Not even Beans. I am currently eating half of a cucumber with some cheese cubes. DH decided he was going to cook, but I just happened to not have the one thing he can cook. He asked me if I did that on purpose. I admitted it. I made SURE that there was nothing here to cook.
  19. tap- I don't know how you do it. Would you come and do that around my house? I promise to keep it clean. Donna-I have asked my mom many times if I was adopted, or if someone else was my father. She told me that if I was or if someone else was my dad, it will go with her to her grave. Good morning everyone!
  20. He is still trying to win the love and approval of a mother that wasn't there for him as a child. He seems to bend over backwards to please her or not offend her. He talks a good game to me about it, but when it comes down to it, she is still his mother.
  21. This is his family, so there are no boundaries as far as he is concerned (at least, none that I can tell).
  22. She is a piece of work.
  23. My mom is almost 60, and I have as much, if not more, gray hair than she does. None of my family members grayed early. My late grandmother only had gray at her widows peak and around her temples. My other grandmother has it only at her temples. The rest is jet black. I am not sure what part of the family I am digging this white hair up from, but hopefully my chemical bottle will keep it at bay.
  24. Ha! I like that. I just happen to have a can or two in the cabinet.
  25. Good luck Susan. I hope all goes well. I know that you are excited. I am done with the chemical enhancements on my hair. I am loving the way it turned out. I now need a good hair cut to go with it. I have those times when food is constantly on my mind. With me, it is usually stress related. I have avoided cooking because of the in-law situation. Well, MIL called and spoke to my DH. She didn't bother to talk to me or ask how I was doing. She did, however, ask DH if I was cooking tomorrow. She told him that she would really appreciate it if I would cook because they only have tv dinners. Hmph. They will be eating tv dinners everyday if they are counting on me cooking for them.
