I hate it when people post just to post.....
Thanks. She said that to me in our month/year forum. I told her that i was going to use it in my signature for just that reason. I made sure to acknowledge where I got it from. That all sounds sooooo good. Thanks. You mean I might actually end up with perky! I have NEVER had perky boobs! I am working on having the double longs as we speak!

Third Fill is the CHARM??
That is awesome Debbie! I am glad that you had a good experience. I have been lucky with my doctor, but he is still not as aggressive as I would like. I thought I had it with this last fill, but I am loosening up. I can tell that I am eating more than I was a month ago. Either way, you are doing such a wonderful job! Keep being my inspiration. I am less that 2 pounds away from onderland! I think reading your posts has helped me stay motivated. It doesn't matter that you don't post often. When you do post, you always say the right thing in the right way. You rock!

Most Painfull Period EVER! TMI probably...
My understanding is the fat cells hold quite a bit of estrogen that is released as you lose weight. You can expect them to be different for a while. I didn't have one for 3 months then when it showed up, I had my cycle for a month straight. I am only just now seeming to get back to "normal" after 6 months. Hopefully you won't have any more very painful cycles, but it will most likely be different.

This is what I use when I trying to calculate a recipe. Nutrition facts, calories in food, labels, nutritional information and analysis – NutritionData.com It lets you input the ingredients along with the amounts. Then it calculates the data for you.

Just give your doctor a call. Tell him/her what you ate. They may say that thinned mashed potatoes are ok. Otherwise, I wouldn't eat anything that wasn't on their ok list, unless they (the doctor) said it was ok. Good luck.

Man, the marshmallow drop sounds fun. Enjoy! Tap-have fun playing in the dirt. I know that you will be glad to have a day above freezing. I'd swear that you and bbg live in the north pole!

LeAvE Me AlOnE!!!!!
I think Jachut is right. They feel threatened by your weightloss. Ignore them. You didn't lose weight for them, so you sure as heck aren't going to stop losing for them. You do what you feel is best for you. You are doing great! I will be so glad when I can just get close to where you are. Your weight loss goals are yours and yours alone.

Unfortunately, you are basically in bandster hell. You really need to stick to the prescribed diet given to you by your doctor. You are in a healing phase to allow the sutures holding your band in place to heal properly. Eating solid food too soon can cause those sutures to break. Though you may not feel anything now, it could cause major problems later (band slippage, band removal). If you continue to be hungry, talk to your doctor to find out what you can add to help (protein drinks, yogurt). Please, don't eat solids before he allows. Good luck to you.

Wow, I missed one day and came back to six pages! You all have been busy. Hi everyone. I cannot even begin to respond to all that I read without coffee. I can only promise that I read it all (including glouc's drunk typing). I have to get my coffee since I seem to be the only person working today.

Instead, I hear bwa-chick-a-waw-waw. (song in Alvin from the chipmunks voice).:tt2: CC-prayers still headed your way. My son was in NICU for almost 2 months when he was born. Seeing them in there is so hard. I am sure he is in great hands along with HIS hands. SNT-You go girl!

Ebony, I am so sorry that this is happening. I can tell from your tone that you have it handled. You are strong and will make it through this storm stronger and wiser.

My family started looking into my maternal grandfather's past. They found that he and his brothers changed their last name in the 40s. Apparenlty one or more of them had been involved with an "accidental" murder. Because they were African American and the person that was killed was not, they assumed they would not get a fair trial in the rural south. They changed the last 3 letters of their last name and moved north. They found an extensive number of additional family members. I don't know a lot about my paternal grandparents other than that my grandmother is part Indian. I am not sure which branch. I also know that my maternal grandmother was part Indian. There is no telling what else is in there. Most of my aunts and uncles are VERY fair skinned. Ebony, I am so sorry that you are going through strife on your job. I can only hope that it turns out to be nothing. I will keep you (in your power suit) in my thoughts tomorrow.

What is Bandster Hell??
Bandster hell is the time between having surgery and actually having your band work for you. It is when you have little or no fill in your band to keep you from being hungry, and you are having to use will power to keep from eating anything that isn't nailed down. Some people never really experience it, but when you do, you will know it. I hope you NEVER experience it. Good luck!

March... our 6 month bandiversary... where are we now?
Debbie, you always know the exact right thing to say. I sat here and read and re-read what you said. Don't let the ghosts of the past ruin your progress. I have been doing that. I am going to steal your words. I am going to post them on my desk (if you don't mind). I am also going to add that to my signature. It will help to remind me not to do that. Thank you for being you. You help me to be a stronger, better me. You are awe inspiring. Thanks for being there.

It is. That is probably why I avoid eating lunch with him and another co-worker. I want to enjoy my lunch and can't do that watching him eat that food.

It gets worse. She is a house wife, but he does the cooking and cleaning. He has to call her for permission to change his off days at work. It is a very strange relationship. I don't know if he is paying penance for something, but at this rate, I would think he has paid in full. y
