  1. Hi I was the same as Queen APIs mum had heart damage due to high blood pressure I'm from the UK so had mine on the NHS they were concerned until I had all the test hope everthing goes well for you

  8. When I had the sleeve done in 2010 I took zinc and seleuim vitamins for my hair

Hi I had my surgery at the end of August I'd lost 45lbs upuntill the end of Nov not sure what I've lost from then only going to see my dietitian sometime this month and I've got no scales and wont have them in the house cant get in the doctors to see about blood pressure and get weighed I've lost quite a lot down 5 to 6 sizes so I ow it's coming off but I like the sound of going back to basics do you mean reset your pouch or just smaller portions I would love to know

Hi jvwarran I hope everything is going well with the liquid diet and your looking forward to the new you I'm from the UK St.helens inbetween Manchester and Liverpool I had a gastric sleeve in 2010 and only lost a couple of stone at the spike's hospital and I went back the doctors and she put me in for further surgery I had the bypass August 23rd 2021 up until 28th Nov I'd lost 45lbs not been weighed yet should be this month sometime but know I've lost quite a bit since sending hugs for 7/3/2022 let me know how you get on there is a lot of help on this site and the people are really lovely at the end of the day we are all here for the same thing good luck

I had 2 pre ops then covid 19 hit and never heard anything for a while then 28th July got a phone call telling me my surgery was on the 23rd Aug and got an appointment for a pre OP egg, and bloods then start my liquid diet and then another phone call saying I needed an iron infusion as quick as possible before my surgery that happened on the thur and had my OP on the mon and never looked back good luck hope it gets sorted out for you

Sending hugs you will be in a bit of pain the first couple of days but it will be worth it when you see the weight come off and a couple of weeks out you will start to feel better you will love the new you and you've already started on this side of the road , let me know how you get on sending healing prays and look after your self speak to you soon

Good luck hope you get your date soon I had my bypass in August 2021 up to the end of November I'd lost 45 lbs but not been weighed yet so not sure what I way now but will let you know when I see my dietitian next month let us know how you get on the forum is very Freindly and some good advice , I also went on pintrest and type in biatric surgery there's loads of recipes as well as other information
  20. You will start to feel better over the next couple of weeks just take it easy and if you think you need counselling ask you biatric team

  23. Have yoghurt cottage cheese milky coffee soups and broths egg mayonnaise and tuna mayonnaise if you go on pintrest and type in food for diffrent stages of biatric surgery it gives you loads of recipes
  24. I certainly wouldn't be having meat I think I was about 4months out before I had meat and I wouldn't detox neither just take your time and heal
