I was 3 months out before I tried anything I had jacket potato tuna and mayonnaise fish in parsley sauce with a bit of veg spread cheese cottage cheese yoghurts

Hi everyone I had my surgery at Stoke university hospital in August 23rd I got weighed 23rd Nov and had lost 45lbs I don't weigh myself so not sure how much I've lost up to now but only go back in March my surgeon give me Forceval vitamins and minerals and it taste terrible but dissolves in water so I'll have to get used to it and I was given Lactose is very sweet but works try porridge aswell

I had mine at Stoke hospital this year but had the sleeve in 2010 at Macclesfield stoke was loads better and had more time for you as a patient but I was in 4 days after and the nurses couldn't do enough for me

5 days post op, leg issues
Yeah make sure you get checked out I had a DVT in 2013 they say some people get pain and struggle to walk and then some don't get pain I got the pain , as it swollen and feels like a pulled muscle let us know how you get on

Gout Week 4 after VSG
I had this a couple of months ago just before my surgery you cant explain how bad the pain is the doctors give me ibuprofen for the pain but had to stop taking them because of surgery and thanks for the info I'll try cherry extract

Day 1 Liquid Diet Pre-Op
I do cottage cheese and eggs to scramble in the microwave it gives it a bit of a taste

Yea same as catwoman says make sure you walk it gets rid of the gas hope you feel better in a couple of days

Sleeve to Gastric Bypass-cancer survivor
Hi ocdennise I recently had sleeve to bypass revising In August 23rd 2021 so I'm twelve week out and lost 45lbs and feel really good sorry to hear your troubles and cancer hope your feeling well I did consider not having the surgery but had it done in the end good luck with your choices hope it goes well for you

Pre-Op Diet Encouragement, please. : )
I was on the milk diet 3 pints of semi skimmed milk and no added sugar 2/50 gram post of yoghurt juice and tea and coffee for 2 weeks but I was ok on it didn't feel hungry and still don't 12 week out of surgery and 45ls down

This surgery is bullshit...
I had the sleeve in 2010 and didn't lose much and there were a couple of others at the hospital who didn't lose so 2021 and I've had the bypass on the 23rd August and 45lbs lighter and feeling good about my self and surgery⁰

Anyone Ever Cancel Their Surgery? I Did... Not Sure How I Feel
I hope everything goes well next week for you I did have doubts the morning of surgery and when I got to the hospital the surgeon came and seen me and said that he needed someone else to do the surgery if he couldn't get anyone he couldn't do it so I thought if he doesn't do it I'm not coming back but he ho 10 minutes later he come back and said are you ready of course I said yep let's do it now I'm 12 weeks out and 45lbs down and glad I had it done

Mine was the same they kept te9me to take deep breaths but I couldn't I was in hospital 4 days but they did look after me

I have a spoonful of mash but have a fair bit of gravy with chicken and parsley sauce with fish it helps if you mince it with a fork

Like the other said walk and also try bringing up your wind when walking it worked for me

I did too but after a couple of days it had gone mind you I was in hospital for four days wasnt impressed when I got told I couldn't go home my sats kept dropping so at least they looked after me , hope you feel better in a couple of days
