HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from New Me, New Mind in Sugar Free/fake sweeteners drinks
Wow 1400 calories! I am still not anywhere near there, and I am almost 6 months out. I am lucky if I can eat 600-700 per day. I am too full to eat more. I have to force myself to eat sometimes. I don't know if I will ever get to 1400? Maybe in a couple of yrs?

No, not unfair. If I really wanted to try, I would. I guess I am just to leery of it because of what the classes told us.

I tried these recently and actually liked them. I like the blueberry the best.

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from Creekimp13 in SpongeBob
This surgery has got me looking like SpongeBob square pants. I have lost so much weight in my bottom half, and am noticeably bigger on top. My legs are like little chicken legs, my ass is completely gone, and flatter than a pancake. I am a medium bottom, and large top. Is this happening to anyone else?

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from outofusernames in Curious... How long before you could eat your first piece of pizza?
What a great idea! I never thought of that. I am going to do the same thing. I can only eat 1 pc of small cheese, and then feel so full after.

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from Elizabeth Smith in Where do you get your protein goal from?
I eat cottage cheese, nut butter, and yogurt as Snacks to get Protein. You could also try soft fish. It has a lot of protein in it.

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from 2holski in Itchy hands and feet
I had this on my fingers. They were so itchy, I would scratch to death, and they would bleed sometimes. Finally I tried cortisone, and it only helped a little bit. It finally went away after about 2 months post op. I never asked the doc what it was.

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from GreenTealael in Pooping all the time now!
I am almost in my 6th month of post surgery for the bypass. I have noticed that my bowel movements have changed a lot since before the surgery. I used to be constipated all the time. Now I barely eat anything, and I have to go. Sometimes even in the morning when I haven't eaten anything I have to go. Has this happened to anyone? It is to the point where I can't even leave my house, because I am afraid I am going to have an accident.

HealthyLifeStyle got a reaction from GreenTealael in Foamie Saturday night!
I couldn't even take any Vitamins or supplements until the 4th month post op. They all made me feel very nauseous. I tried taking them on an empty stomach and then after I ate, and it did not make a difference. Maybe wait a few weeks and try it again. I just tried every month, and finally I was able to take them without feeling sick.
