  1. Not by the way he says it. He seems scared that I am going to show off my body, and he doesn't want that to happen. Not that I would anyway.
  2. Same here. I had the surgery, and he is trying to lose with just dieting. He has always lost more than me, but now not. We eat two diff meals all the time also. He hasn't said much about me cooking. He knows I have to eat certain foods.
  3. No, he doesn't want me to show my body off at all. I can tell by the way he says it.
  4. No because the way he says it, like he is hoping that I don't wear these things.
  5. I have a jealous hubby. I don't know if jealous is the right word. Since I have lost my weight (75 lbs.), he is acting weird. We are only in February, but he keeps talking about the clothing I would wear when the nice weather comes. He asked me several times if I am going to buy some halter tops....LOL All I can do is laugh about this. I am 51 yrs. old, and I would never even think about wearing that. He also keeps asking me if I am going to wear shorts, (I never did being heavier). What should I do, if anything about this?
  6. Well I wish you luck and happiness as you move forward in your journey.
  7. I am close to 6 months out, and still follow the rules I was given by my surgeon. I don't drink anything 30 minutes before, or after a meal or snack. If I do, I am too full to get my protein in. I have already had to cut my water back from 8 cups a day to only 6. If I drink 8 cups, I am too full to eat all my protein for the day.
  8. I noticed that you had the sleeve, and I had bypass. I wonder if it will be diff for you.
  9. I don't have any dumping issues, as long as I don't eat anything over 15 grams of sugar.
  10. I was eating plain oatmeal at that stage. I could only eat a few bites at at time. Mostly I ate cream of wheat. I never pureed any of my food. I just ate really soft food. I actually ate baby food at one point. Like the deserts. Maybe try it.
  11. My stalls lasted 2-3 weeks at a time. Talk about being frustrated.
  12. I still have not started a routine yet. I am almost 6 months out. I have fibromyalgia, and am scared to death of being in more pain. Someone else on here just let me know that she just started, and she is more than a year post op. I guess you will know when the time is right for you. Just because your doc says its ok....they don't know how you actually feel. Just my opinion.
  13. As with any weight loss program, there is always going to be a stall. I have had several of them. I am close to 6 months out. Just keep doing what you need to do. All of a sudden, you will start seeing results again. I know its hard not to get frustrated, but don't give up. You got this!
  14. That is great news. It will be over soon (I didn't like that stage). You will be able to eat regular food soon, and you will love it. Just remember to chew your food to death..I made the mistake of not doing it, and remember how full and sick I felt afterwards.
  15. My first vaccine is scheduled very soon. I am wondering if anyone has got it yet. I am curious if there are any side effects. I am a little bit nervous because as I have been losing weight, I noticed different side effects in meds, such as my body reacting more sensitively. I even feel weird if I take 3 Tylenol, instead of 2. It's like my body can't digest them properly or something.

This pic is not from today, but from 1/10/21. My sis was recovering from Covid on Xmas, so we had to postpone it until then. This is me, down 75 lbs. and 5 sizes. I feel great, and it was good to get dressed in something other than sweatpants. Hubby did a "photo-shoot" when we got back home. The sweater was given to me as a Xmas gift from my parents. I am Greek/Egyptian, and I love all things Greek Key print.

Beautiful! I wouldn't worry about the arms, you are stunning and everyone will be too caught up in your beautiful face!

OMG that food looks delish!! Love your earrings, dress, and nail color!
  19. Apparently, cutting into small, tiny little bites, and chewing forever is the key. LOL At least that is what I have got from everyone on here so far.
  20. I agree that beef is very hard to digest.
  21. That is def one I have not tried. I will have to try it. Is it very expensive? I know that a lot of stuff from GNC usually is.
  22. I found I wasn't able to eat a Lean Cuisine meal until my 4th or 5th month.
