  1. I cant do crystal light too bitter tasting. The shakes dont sit well for me either. Did your nutritionist not give you a handout for stage 4? The program book they gave me has list of foods and meal examples. I am still in purees. You could try going back a stage until you make an appointment with your dietician to get her advice.
  2. I concur with catwoman please drink your water dehydration is number one reason for hospital visit after surgery. They may have to put iv in. Im not afraid to gain from water. You might need to speak with the counselor. I do want to add that its a good sogn you arent hungry some people who get sleeve still have appetite so you got lucky there ???
  3. I graduated grad school before even trying. I think its possible to do having done both, but you will probably feel like hell. If you have complications will be even worse. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who has no complications pain or il feelings though and then it would b no sweat. If it were me id set the date one week after program finished.
  4. Hey you hope everything goes well keep us updated ?
  5. I have the same concerns about work im thinking maybe preemptive med every morning
  6. You should try bentyl for your cramps. The difference between a lactose incident vs the dumping for me is you have a bit of nausea some pouch pressure and instead of a few hours it kinda lingered a day
  7. The gb is considered the gold standard scientifically because we have the most statistical data for it making it Be a bit less “experimental” when coming to side effects and weight kept off.
  8. Very good point here. Its some peoples personality maybe raised that way.
  9. Curious if anyone else had this? I am not sure if i still have it - havent seen the results from the follow up xray i did a few days ago. Let me know
  10. I have beachbody and love chalene however not able to do that yet
  11. Love this new thing where i mix laughing cow cheese into the egg substitute its tasty breakfast and lighter than the shake
  12. Very similar except most of mine is puree. The shakes r hard to tolerate
  13. I got many problems (nausea diarreah) but i did lose 41 lb so far so three times a day seems to be working for me
  14. Most practices offer rny because its the gold standard not as complex and has a lower death rate. I dont know what country you are in but here in america gastric bypass is standard but sleeve is more popular this year statistically
  15. I am allowed eggs and pouch seems to tolerate sometimes i just eat the juice outta the yolk of fried egg. I agree with the person who adds things to eat them fluffy. I like egg substitute w laughing cow cheddar
  16. I try to eat three times a day but its not scheduled because if i feel like im going to hurl i put it off for an additional hour hoping there will be more room in the pouch for it
  17. I was fat like you but also had gastroparesis which the surgery would help lol ?
  18. Hey girl regain is actually common that far out on the sleeve statistically you are not alone. You could try to get revision to d switch or you could try to lose the lbs by following plan. Also maybe consider getting apetite suppressant to help if you feel hunger. This reads more like binge so maybe make appointment w counselor
  19. Hey august buddy theres an august 2020 thread on the forums somewhere. I had my rny aug 28
  20. Yeah this is an excellent point we cant do fibrous yet.
  21. I hope everything is okay i had long limb rny but my doc told me not to be worried if i had some bloood in my stool when i went home from hospital. I have not had any. Let us know how you are doing. Yellow stool can be a liver issue a food intolerance a gallbladder thing etc catwoman is correct about bright red blood
  22. I had little cesears pizza and bread sticks four days preop and liquid shakes the remaining days and surgeon said liver was good for surgery. Dont beat yourself up about food its part of why we fat. You cant change the past and the future is going to be better ?
  23. I couldnt find these here but my nurse at hospital gave me drops of it while there so that was awesome. Surgeon did approve chewables for post op as well
  24. Hey ? its not the end its the beginning of a new lifestyle. I switched to bypass two weeks before surgery just let surgeon know. Alot of people here older than you some in their sixties!
