  2. Hey, hang in there. Life seems to throw curve balls at us all the time. If I can do anything to help, please pm me. Take care.
  3. Amy, Hang in there. Like you, I've been involved with someone for the past 5 years. I love this person but I can not take the ambivalence I've experienced in our relationship. I am not married but very committed. As of this week, my relationship is over. I was cheated on. I am tired of being used and feeling like a doormat. I hope to meet someone who will treat me like gold. It's hard right now but in the long run, you will be a better person and much stronger. I'll be thinking of you. Take care of yourself first. Jennifer

  8. Hi everyone, I finally found this thread! I was quickly reading over the posts and everyone seems to be doing well. i would agree quinine for the leg cramps but I would suggest some blood work to determine the deficiency. Your doctor could then detemine what supplement to take. Good luck! For me, I am doing just fine. I have lost lost 32 lbs since beginning the pre-op diet and I am in a mushy food stage right now progressing to solid foods this week. I am exercising but I am going to get to my bike this week and head out for some fresh air and pretty scenery! Everyone, keep up the good work! Take care.

  10. I followed their pre-op diet of Optifast for 4 weeks. They have a fairly strict outline of dieting. I did well on the pre-op and now am doing well on the post-op. I just just started mussy foods this week after liquids for about 2 weeks. I am 3 weeks out from the surgery.

  12. I just had surgery with Dr. Bour on May 8th. The band was MY only choice and I am not displeased in any way. I did have to stress that the band was the only option for me. If you have any questions, let me know! PS Welcome to the board!

  15. I just had my surgery May 8th. Arrived 9:30, home by 3:00Pm. Mild discomfort and controlled by pain meds. Walked around that day but mostly slept. Next day got up and moved around. Off pain meds Wednesday and drove. Felt good! Back to work by Monday and feeling very good! It's really not that bad. Good luck!

  17. I was banded a week ago Monday. I fell fine except for some gas! I've doing my routine activity and today I went to the golf driving range and hit some golf balls. (I was bored) I feel fine afterwards except for some arm and hip soreness. Did i do too much??? Could I have caused a slippage? Like I said, I feel perfectly fine but now I feel guilty??
