    Good morning
I can only share my experiences. 2 weeks ago i revisited my preop liquid diet regimen and included going to the gym 3x a week because i gained 15lbs during the pandemic. My weight stalled and started seeing the scale number go up. Im over 200lbs. I intend to continue my clean eating for at least 2 more weeks and weigh myself on 9/30/20.

    I skip dinner

I do 2 Protein Shakes my favorite Premier Protein 30gm Protein 160 cal.

I eat Breakfast and lunch. My lunch is veggies or a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers onions peppers. 2 cups. And healthy choice ff dressing.

I like these options and i have been disciplined.
    I hope this helps.
    Missy

Motivation needed! I am almost one year post op (gastric bypass) and I have stalled. I have gotten sloppy with my eating habits and I'm looking for any advice or motivation you can offer. Looking for ideas for a meal plan to get back on track. Thanks y'all and I hope everyone is well!

Congrats on the 70lb weight loss!!! My first thought would be to do whatever you did to lose those 70lbs! You've done it before, and you can do it again!
Cut out whatever foods you are getting "sloppy" with and get back to basics - high Protein will will up that pouch.
As for meal ideas - I admit that my meals may seem boring, but they are satisfying! I do 3 meals a day, and sometimes add in 1 snack as well.
Breakfast - Greek Yogurt or Eggwhites w/ jimmy dean sausage crumbles and 1/2 slice american cheese or Toasted zero carb bread with cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning or fairlife Protein Shake
lunch - half Turkey sandwich (on zero carb bread or low carb tortilla) or greek yogurt or protein shake or leftovers from last night's dinner
Dinner - chaffle pizza or buffalo shrimp or 1/2 of a lean cuisine or bunless veggie or turkey burger or ahi tuna
Snack - (pretty much anything 100 cals or less) - greek yogurt or SF popsicle or slice zero carb bread or 1/2 tortilla w/ smidgen of PB or 100 cal choc pretzel pack or raw veggies w/ cream cheese or ranch
Hope you got at least 1 good idea out of this list. You can DO this!!

Your base metabolic rate depends on your weight along with other factors. As you lose weight your base metabolic rate is lower and you need fewer calories. This causes your weight loss to slow as well. Eventually when your base rate equals your daily intake you will stop losing weight.

yes - the first six months or so are the quickest weight loss - it slows down a lot after that. I was probably losing 5-8 lbs a month during months 6-12 (but I started out way heavier than you, so yours might be slower). Then it REALLY slowed to a crawl after the year mark.
that said, mine kept going until I was about 18-20 months out.

Just an update. I was 236 lbs in 7th grade. Went as high as 340 in early 20's. March of 2019 I was weighing 280. Started 2 week preop diet at 274. Surgery was 7-23-19 and now 6.5 months later I am 173lbs. Initial goal was 175 (5'7") but still have some more to lose so setting goal around 165 before I start trying to add some muscle back.
Stayed around 600 cal and 60g Protein for about 4.5 months then tried to up it around 800 and 100g protein, that seemed to work ok. Occasionally I'll hit 1000 but other days struggle to get 600. Very little hunger, just know when I NEED to eat. food just not that important to me anymore. Still foamies and throw up when I eat to fast. Very little I can't eat, haven't really tried breads or pastas though. Heartburn got bad had to start omeprazole again.
Helluva year, ruptured aortic aneurysm last January with aortic valve replacement, sleeve in july, vasectomy in December and new baby boy 12-31! Just wanted to offer a little encouragement to those considering this or new in the process. No regrets, sure sometimes I miss sitting down and gorging but I just try to remember what it felt like afterwards.
Lots of positives, clothes that fit right, chairs that seem to big, etc...sucked to get rid of perfectly good clothes that were never wore and by the time you try to wear something else, it's to big. Nice trade off I guess. Anyway, just my story. I'm almost 44 and wish I'd done this sooner. Just like everyone else I had my doubts before surgery but it was definitely a good choice.

I am one year post-op sleeve.
I struggled with losing weight for the last six months, was constantly stalled.
But I didn't gain weight (except for 3 1/2 pounds during holidays, which I've already lost).
So starting January 1st I started eating MORE calories, like a LOT, like 1300/day and guess what? I'm LOSING weight again.
My guess is my body had adjusted to the lower number of calories and was holding on to everything it was getting.
Or maybe my body just needed a rest.
But I feel like I had the longest stall in weight loss surgery history.
Happy now to see the scale going down daily!

Change something up. Eat a bit more, increase your carbs or Protein or Water intake or change up/increase your exercise. That should clear it within a week.
I haven't hit a true stall longer than 3 days yet (knock on wood) but there have been full weeks where my weight loss has slowed to 1-2 pounds in those weeks.

Breath and stay on course - I can fix the stall Do not weigh yourself for a few weeks - Really take a break from the scale and just stay on your program.

Oh they're so, so frustrating. Just rest assured that it's nothing you've done wrong. Therefore, there isn't something you can do about it. It just has to run its course. Hang in there and keep up the good work.

Morning all! I'm chronicling my journey here so it'll be easy for me to find haha.
Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since surgery. I woke up this morning to 271 on the scale. HW: 353 (June, I've been higher before), SW: 327, CW: 271, GW: 210.
That's 56 since surgery and 82 overall. I'm pretty dang happy with that. Weight loss is slowing down and being sporadic - last week it was almost a pound each day and then I stalled for 3 days and woke up this morning to a 3 pound drop. I just hope it continues at 2 pounds a week or more so I can make my weight for Hawaii! Need to be at 250 for a bunch of the stuff we wanna do.
I had a rough week at work last week and had my first true test of my normal habit of going to food for stress. I worked out instead. I don't know that it helped me or made me feel better but I did it and didn't let food do any damage.
I feel like Hair loss is starting despite taking Biotin, collagen and using the Nioxin system. I'll let my barber take care of it next month.
Anyways - keep it up out there!

I do very lean chicken, ground turkey or fish. I will try some super lean ground beef on occasion but I'm not a huge fan of red meat. I'm guessing the meats your eating are too fatty. Try something leaner.
