  1. No blood thinners pre or post op so that is not it. I guess it could be the less padding lol
  2. could be caffeine or sugar withdrawals, blood pressure, dehydration. lots of things. If it continues check in with your doc.
  3. Anybody else find they seem to bruise really easily now since the surgery? I notice all kinds of weird bruises, no idea where they came from......lol All bloodwork has come back normal.
  4. skinny girl margaritas are soo good. BUT I have not had any yet either. I am 5 mos post op
  5. yeah no bread, rice or pasta is part of my plan too. my doc says I can try to add them back in but I'm just avoiding them altogether, as pasta is my weakness

  7. pretty much use stevia for any sweetener I need.

  11. lotion lotion lotion. I use a firming lotion, nivea is the one I like best. it has also helped with the loose skin issues some too
  12. Exactly. the first thing I do is get a to go box lol I divide my food into NOW and LATER right away. We do sometimes split an entrée if we know the portions are really big and neither of us will get much out of it but I look at it this way.....I have lunch/dinner for the next 2-3 meals.
  13. This is pretty typical weightloss. perhaps talk to your surgeon and nutritionist about what your expectations are
  14. Lifting will most likely be your only restriction for a bit. get in the cardio and yoga/pilates/stretching while you wait. I also have been jumping rope to break up my routine
  15. I have been trying to sprint on the treadmill....it is crazy hard. lol
  16. I was an avid runner in my twenties. Now that I'm in my 50s and have a few old war wounds you can definitely call what I do slow jogging LOL
  17. Yes. I try to do some sprinting on the treadmill too
  18. I guess I need to have one too. nobody around except my special needs 11 yr old son and the dogs to see if I'm still snorfin all night lol
  19. I am sorry you are feeling blue. a let down after surgery, once you get to the real work is pretty typical. it is a hard road we have chosen. but the benefits will far outweigh the sruggles
  20. hmm that seems ood to me. I did my 6 month sup diet with my PCP.
  21. OUCH had this issue last week after a pot luck at work. did not over eat but the variety I guess did not sit well. immediate nausea. and the first time I have vomited since surgery. I do Chinese but no rice for me. just my cashew chicken and egg rolls, usually get about 4 meals off of one serving lol
  22. what shapewear have you found that is light and not like a wetsuit? lol I need something too but I live in FLORIDA
