  1. Prayers and good vibes coming your way. Let me know about the new arthritis meds...i'm very nervous about giving up my Meloxicam . I'm sure that you're gonna do GREAT
  2. I hope you have a speedy recovery
  3. That's so awesome...I pray that the rest of your recovery just as smooth.
  4. My PCP had me meet once with their nutritionist and set me an exercise goal and diet goal tracking my intake on myfitnesspal. Each month we went over everything and adjusted my goals and she sent a detailed report to my surgeon's office.
  5. I've been taking omeprazole and ranitidine for a couple years. I seriously hope to get rid of my reflux with the surgery. Mine will hurt all the way up into my neck and shoulder.
  6. Good luck...I just know that you're gonna do fabulously well
  7. I didn't know that they had an Inn for the hospital...Leslie just asked me if I wanted to stay there the night before since it's such an early morning check in. Maybe it's because I live a good bit further away. I am starting to get more and more excited but there's so much to do lol...and I'm working every extra day I can. I hope the liquid diet is going ok for you.
  8. I'm so glad that you're doing so well
  9. Reflux sucks...that was one main reason that I chose Bypass because I already have terrible reflux and the Sleeve so often creates or makes it worse.
  10. Are you going up the night before and staying in the Inn? Leslie set me up for that...i'm about 2 hrs from the hospital.
  11. Hi! I'm Angie, 26 years old and Mommy of 2! I had the sleeve done in 2015, 4 months after having my 2nd child and my starting weight was 282 after vsg I got down to 197 lbs and started getting terrible acid reflux and then after my 2nd year I started regaining and now I'm currently at 229 lbs. Because of GERD I'm having revision to bypass on June 17th and I'm hoping for relief and to lose everything I regained and some! I'm currently on day 2 my pre-op diet and it's harder than I remember it being before my sleeve. I just need to get my mind on track. Welcome to the group
  12. My insurance specifically required that I have my 6 months visits with a Dr other than my surgeon so I used my PCP...if that is the case with you, then the last 2 months should be fine as long as your Dr sends in the info along with what your goals etc are for the coming month. You absolutely need to speak with your insurance company and see what the requirements are.
  13. One day at a time...sending you good vibes and happy thoughts
  14. Awesome...keep is up to date on your progress
  15. Have your Vitamin D checked.
  16. GOOD LUCK....and please update us when you feel up to it
  17. You've got this so calm those nerves and let the Drs handle it. Many prayers for a great experience.
  18. Wishing you good luck and good wishes
  19. Welcome welcome...i'm an adopted member myself since my surgery is in July lol.
