  1. What's #TransformationTuesday?
  2. Congratulations!! Here's to another year of improved health and vitality!!
  3. Oh congratulations! So many big victories! Here's to many date nights out with your hubs in the future!
  4. Patriotic crotch hehehe. I did giggle out loud. I know, I belong in kindergarten.
  5. Hi guys, I know most of us are using a phone app for tracking our weight and food - but for those who also like an old skool Excel chart, this one is really cool. https://www.contextures.com/excelweightlosstracker.html It has all the conversions and things included you just input your data!
  6. Pastels, I love me some pastels *happy sigh*
  7. Biggest NSV so far: happened today peeps. My MIL had given me a gift card for a place that sells nice clothes and household stuff. I thought I'd check out their bed linen but found myself in the clothing part. I haven't been into this store for ages so I nearly fell over myself when I found a few items I thought might fit me. Well! Not only was I spoiled for choice (zomg, I don't just have to buy the one plus size item available) but I found a gorgeous blue top that I thought I could even go DOWN a size! I'm genuinely shopping for clothes like regular people!
  8. Wowee kazowee that is fantastic! You must be over the moon!
  9. Thank you kindly.
  10. Just a thought re: the CBT. If it's coming and going, it could be hormonal and/or you've just been through some pretty major stuff which can take some time to get your head around. Mothers, even though they love us dearly, sometimes say exactly the wrong things. But you have the BP family support even if it's electronic, we are with you in thoughts and best wishes!
  11. Oh godh@sideeye I'm really sorry. What a blow. My hubby's friend experienced something similar not long after her marriage and it was heartbreaking. She's in a nursing home because she's not really ever recovered and it's just so hard to believe it could happen to someone so young. You are a true friend!
  12. I live in Tipperary! Msg me if you do come here and we can meet up over a skinny latte in Costa if u like!
  13. Oh fasting is brilliant - it's such a fabulous way of reminding ourselves to be grateful for all the food luxuries we have on a regular basis, and a special time to get closer to God. Perhaps make a prayer that this will be for His sake and ask protection from any possible ill effects.
  14. I'm sorry you're going through a rough patch. Is the depression all the time of does it come and go? You've had a tough time with your gallbladder especially so it's not surprising you are feeling blue. Have you considered doing some cognitive behavioural therapy? It's a method that helps address the thoughts that affect your feelings and behaviours and gives you tools for how to deal with them. *hugs* you've come through some major changes to your body and are on the track to better health!
  15. I don't have a lot of pictures to offer really. I cleaned the kitchen; went for a walk each evening with my hubby; joined an online Qur'an recitation class; watched telly and did a bit of shopping
  16. Oh they look sooooo good. Imma try that.
  17. Well don't leave the story there. Did they leave the contacts in or did they have to remove them? What happened to your friend? Is she OK now?
  18. How I Eat Now: - if a recipe calls for sugar, I use Candarella - I put (and order) skim milk in my coffees - I put the protein on the fork first (mostly) - I weigh what I put on my plate or bowl - I make a little baggie of 1 cup of air-popped popcorn with a spray of rapeseed oil and a teaspoon of Candarella all mixed up and take that to the cinema instead of buying movie popcorn - I don't drink with my meals and for at least half hour afterwards - I use a small plate or bowl and small cutlery - I try and space my mouthfuls out (leaving 30 seconds in between) and chewing it well
  19. Oh wow, what a rough ride! I hope you get better soon!
  20. Righto so it wasn't so much stop, drop and chug as "go upstairs and find something to put on, and, no that angle makes you look fat, try another one, and chug [emoji16]
  21. Ooooh I thought they were your chooks ?
  22. Make sure to do all the non-meds stuff to help bipolar too, like getting good, consistent sleep, get some outside fresh air time, journal your thoughts and moods etc.
  23. You have chooks!? I love 'em!
