  1. Well done! I'm doing the Arabic ululating in your honour! https://youtu.be/nWYzkRFTKHs
  2. You're welcome! [emoji182][emoji8][emoji106]
  3. I'd like to know this too!! I have a feeling this is going to have to be ordered off the Internet
  4. Oh yeah, I tried to figure out the calories. If you divide it into 6 large portions it's 305 cals a serving. But I eat half of that.
  5. Actually it was pretty nom. So I try and put extra veg in, whatever I've got but today I used this: Ingredients= 3 tsp oil 1 large onion, diced 2 carrots 3 cloves garlic 1 capsicum, cut into chunks 3/4 cup of chicken stock (I make my own when I cook a chook) 600 gms mushrooms, sliced into chunks 500 gms ground beef 2 cans chopped tomatoes 2 cans kidney beans 1 tbsp sugar alternative eg Candarella 2 tbsp Spice Mix or to taste Spice Mix= Salt & pepper Ground cumin Paprika Cayenne pepper Oregano Garlic powder Onion powder Seasoning salt (I usually make a jar of this up and keep it in the fridge) Method= 1. Heat the oil. In a pot and then brown the onions 2. In a blender, pulse the carrots and garlic, then add that to the browned onions. You want to caramalise the carrots until you get sticky bits on the bottom of the pot. 3. Add the capsicum pieces and sweat them down a little, scraping all the sticky bits off the bottom of the pan (they're packed with flavour). 4. Add the chicken stock. 5. In a separate flat pan, brown the ground beef so that any fat cooks off or drain off any extra fat. 6. Add the meat and rest of the ingredients to the pot with the liquid from the canned kidney beans and a bit of extra water if you need to. 7. Bring to a boil then simmer on a lower heat for at least 40 mins, making sure to stir every now and again. So, that's my chilli recipe. The guac I make by just chopping up some red onion, avocado, a tomato, salt and pepper, a little bit of lemon or lime juice and a couple of tbsp of light cream cheese (or nonfat yoghurt), smushing it all up in the bowl.
  6. My meals in photos today. I ate my brekky before I remembered, woops, but it was two slices of gouda cheese & 100 gms of lowfat vanilla yoghurt. Lunch was antipasto plate. Snack of an apple and a mandarin. Dinner was chilli con carne, guac and nonfat yoghurt. Evening snack of protein water popsicle.
  7. Really? I hope that happens to me coz I don't reckon I have hardly any restriction.
  8. Wow, That's almost spot on. I'm a tad more than 33% of excess weight lost and today was my 3 month surgiversary.
  9. Well I learned something new today: http://savvytokyo.com/japanese-superfoods-matcha/
  10. Goya powder, halp - is that the right stuff?
  11. So here they are : Starting Weight for Jan: 112.9 / 249 GW for Jan: 108 / 238 Jan Goals: - Lose a kilo a week - make up all my Ramadan missed fasts - keep net carbs under 50 a day Halfway through I'm at 110.1 (242 lbs) which is a loss of 1.23 kilos per week, so met and exceeded that goal! Ramadan fasting suspended because Aunt Flo visited and she overstays her welcome so only made up three days. Net carbs have not stayed under 50. That's been a miserable failure [emoji24]
  12. Is it bad I had to look up what my goals were?
  13. That looks amazing! And HEAPS of food for the calories!
  14. Ooooh thanks. Everything on the packet is in Japanese (I think?) so I have no idea what to do with it except stir it into yoghurt and smoothies lol
  15. Speaking of matcha, look what I bought. I'm blaming@GreenTealael if it all goes horribly wrong.
  16. Wow you can really see such a difference!
  17. It is fun to see the clothing labels too! Thanks for clarifying, I have no clue ??
  18. I love love your dress, you look gorgeous! [emoji122] [emoji322]
  19. Oh dearheart, I'm so so sorry. I have no words but you are in my prayers.
  20. Oooh I see - we list how we've transformed in clothes for #TransformationTuesday? Gosh at my highest I even ordered 5x with a thought to moving into 6x. But I don't have any of those left. Now I think I'm a UK 20 up top and a 22 below. I even fit into XL and that's so exciting for me. Plus as I mentioned elsewhere, I'm now just obese, not morbidly obese yayyyy.
  21. That's hella-amazing! But I agree, no such thing as too much@GreenTealael face.
