  2. Exhausted but cannot sleep like always. [emoji854]
  3. I have this book! I agree that it is very helpful and super simple to read.
  4. Fantastic photo! Looking super mysterious and distinguished.
  5. Same! Too busy over here D:
  6. How do the liquid vitamins taste though?
  7. Anyone else getting these weird back-handed compliments? Work started back up for me today and I got a lot of "Oh, you're wasting away/too skinny/ etc. comments. Which are all bs anyways because I'm still technically "obese" according to my bmi. Why are people so rude? How do you guys respond to comments like these? #rantingaway
  8. Also definitely too young for menopause over here. Just a whacked out cycle.
  9. Me!! I'm on my second period of the month and it just won't stop! I have never had this happen before and its driving me crazy. Everytime I think it's over, it starts up again. The only thing I can think of that can be causing it is the weight loss/surgery.
  10. Thank you. I probably reflect on the past a little too much.
  11. Here's a graph of my weight from 2014-now. It shows when I first started my first weight loss journey at 218lbs to how I got down to my lowest adult weight of 158 in less than a year, how I started to gain over the next couple years to reach 238 lbs. That is when I decided to have wls, so now it is showing how I've made my way back down to 176 lbs. I feel good right now but also terrified of gaining again because despite it just being a line graph to most, to me it also shows all the tears and depression I went through. How do I stay optimistic when I've failed myself many times before? I guess I'm just looking for some support, advice, and words of wisdom anyone may have. Thank you all in advance!
  12. Are you sure they are hunger pains? More often than not it is too much acid in your stomach being mistaken for hunger. I have experienced zero hunger pains (growling stomach) but have experienced a ton of discomfort from excess acid. Try taking an acti-acid and seeing if it helps!
  13. I get hiccups very often now which was never a thing pre-surgery. Its definitely associated with eating and drinking but not necessarily a "you had enough" sign. I think it just has to do with the new layout of the stomach and the way air gets trapped/moves throughout.
  14. Allergic to honey. Any suggestions on what I can use as an alternative?
  15. Before and after. Tomato, mushroom, and pepper omelet
  16. Decaf coffee has trace amounts of caffeine in it. Not enough to get "a boost".
  17. Get a new husband. Its 2019, no time for unsupportive and disrespectful spouses.
  18. 2 weeks was more than enough time off for me Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm just trying to understand why the OP posted a copy of the email sent to them and didn't just quote Walter's post...
  20. I woke up attached to a lot of different things. IVs, heart monitor thing, tube up nose, etc. I also had a drainage tube. It wasn't pleasant but it was definitely tolerable. I had it for about a week.
  21. Super normal! I was extremely nervous before surgery but happy to say that I have had zero regrets so far.
  22. Thank you! [emoji173][emoji173]
