  1. Not a problem! To respond directly to the OP, just hit reply on the original post and it will quote that post.
  2. I think you responded to the wrong person. Original poster is the one eating 400 calories a day, not me. I was just talking about being addicted to the scale.
  3. I don't get the emails... I used to get phone notifications but now its spotty. Lol sounds like a of emails!
  4. I like this graph. By any chance do you know where I can find the one for females?
  5. I agree but how do I resist the temptation of jumping on the scale?!? I tried putting the scale in an incovienent location and still found myself going through the effort to grab it.
  6. I agree with above commenters that it may be a build up of too much stomach acid
  7. Not being snarky and never called them a "crazy liar". Simply stating that I don't agree with their justifications and that the statements made sound crazy to me. Stating that you disagree with someone's actions is not bullying. Just like you don't agree with mine but I do not believe you are bullying me.
  8. It wasn't meant to be snarky. Sometimes you need to have what you're saying said back to you to realize how ridiculous you sound. Poster repeatedly said they do not have a problem because they don't drink to get drunk despite having a shot of hard liquor every day. Also stated that their doc said it was okay for them to be having a shot or liquor every day even though they had their surgery in Oct. Clearly both ludicrous statements but I guess you can't really reason with crazy, can ya?
  9. My phone has stopped displaying notifications when people directly respond to my post or tag me. The only notifications I'm currently getting are when someone likes my comment. I used to get all notifications and haven't changed any of my settings. Is it from an update? Is there a way I can fix this? (I am on an android)

Your'e putting yourself at risk by having alcohol within 6 months of surgery. Your stomach is still healing and alcohol is very acidic and can mess with the healing process. You're also at a high risk of developing a dependency issue. Not sure how long post op you'll be by your gold trip?
  11. "I don't drink to get drunk, so I dont have a problem." Sound logic
  12. Hmm. I also experienced gout for a couple days when I first got home from the hospital. I havent had any problems since though.
  13. Be honest. Tell her that your taste buds have changed due to surgery. A supportive partner will understand and be happy with you that you no longer have to worry about eating too many.
  14. Stay with family or friends? Book a hotel room? Have him sleep in the truck..
  15. Try sipping slower, different temperature liquids, different types of liquids
  16. Ah, I get it now. I had to google what "procto" meant cause I had never heard it before
  17. Congrats on moving down in waist size!
  18. I am having the same experience. I love coffee but it has been making me constipated since I have had surgery, which is a bummer because it used to cause me diarrhea. My NUT also said that i need to be have an additional 16 oz of water for every 8oz of coffee I drink on top of my required 64 oz. I barely make it to 64oz a day so any additional drinking is out of the question. I just miss my coffee! lol
