  1. Yeah, I've been at the same exact weight for about 2 weeks now. Like hasnt moved up or down at all. I'm starting to think my scale is broken. [emoji14] Ahaha. Thank you for the compliment! I've always been fairly active and once some weight dropped off it was just that much easier for me to be much more active. Working on those Instagram abs! Just gotta stick through the stall though! Kind of nice to know I am not the only one. I was worried I was stalling because I'm not bringing in enough calories to sustain my activity level but maybe its just the natural progression of things.
  2. Thank you! Really its a trick mirror ;P
  3. HW: 238 CW: 175 GW: 140 Goals for February are to hopefully hit under 170 by the end of the month. Plan is to only take 4 rest days out of the 28 day month. Been doing solid with my exercise goals and with the core challenge so far. Anyone else doing this core challenge with me? Feeling a little bleh about myself because I've been stalled at 175 for a week which is my first stall. Attached pic is what my core currently looks like. Hoping to flatten out more/possibly fine some definition by the end of the month.
  4. Two gripes include the whole bathroom problem thing that a lot of people seem to be delaying with (I just want to be regular!) and I pulled a muscle from working out and it's been nonstop hurting for 4 days at this point. It really sucks not being able to take any strong pain meds. Tylenol ain't cutting it.
  5. People are super weird when it comes weight loss and appearances changing.
  6. Sounds like its flying somewhere! [emoji372][emoji372]
  7. I really need to bring myself to try cottage cheese. I've never had it. The name turns me off which I know is a childish reason not to try something. Photo looks yummy though!
  8. I hope you continue to heal and feel better!
  9. Also on the "no go" train unless I take a stimulant and then when I take a stimulant, I have a stomachache. All around a shitty situation.
  10. I start to feel nauseous when drinking cold water now. Pre op I loved cold water. Now I drink it and it feels like I'm choking. The adjustment has been slow and painful but I've started adding more luke warm and hot beverages into my diet.
  11. Same fear runs through my head. You just gotta keep reminding yourself to focus on the present and have faith that this time around will be different!
  12. If you're only a day away from surgery, it's time to stop doing research. Stay positive! The chances of something going wrong are slim. I was super nervous going into my surgery also but all was a breeze! I wish you a speedy recovery!
  13. I apologize to everyone for the spam of responses all at once! My life has been a hectic mess lately!
  14. Have not tried nuts yet but have eaten some popcorn, realized it was a slider and am now refusing to buy popcorn for my apt lol
  15. I find that Hershey's sugar free syrup tastes terrible. Ive tried making hot chocolate with it but am disappointed everytime
  16. Yeah, this time it wasn't a "You need comfort yourself" craving. My body woke up with a mission was like "You need to eat some meat now!"
  17. I have been craving salad also. I went out out with a few friends yesterday and one ordered this salad that looked amazing! I was actually jealous of her salad. I am way too nervous to try any though.
  18. Yep! So grateful I am craving meat and not junk food! Very weird though.
  19. It is used required for VSG but not the bypass. It is to check for abnormalities and then they do one after surgery to check for leaks.
  20. Those core workouts are the worst!
  21. Same feeling! Cannot live with out my chocolate protein bars!
  22. Never thought I would be the type of person to crave lunch meat in the middle of the night... but I suppose my body is telling me something.
  23. Maybe I'll do the plank challenge. I should work on core strength.
  24. Lol. Those of us with longer names to spell are getting the shitty end of the stick in the 'spell your name' workout. [emoji14]
