  1. I haven’t found a multi yet that will stay down. Chewables or capsules.
  2. I could go for those red lobster commercials. Love seafood! Four weeks out and have been eating tuna and talapia. I get your craving.
  3. Hi all. I’m four weeks since my sleeve on 7/10. I’m technically in the puréed stage for another week. I haven’t been eating veges because I’m not sure which are lower in carbs. Been sticking to chicken tuna egg salad yogurt cottage cheese. Things like that. Can anyone tell me which vegetables are considered the best to eat without risking gaining weight? I know they’re to be eaten after the protein.
  4. It’s rough. I’m four weeks post op and there is left over chinese food in my fridge that is calling my name from my kids that I want to dig into but I can’t. If I gain I’ll be depressed. It supposedly gets easier. I’m waiting.
  5. I can totally relate. I was sleeved on July 10th and the fear of dying during surgery almost made me cancel. Use these boards for support. You will be in good hands with your medical team and by being overweight you are shortening your life. Try to relax. All will be okay. Best of luck to you.
  6. Hi. I’m on puréed foods (sleeved July 10th). If something is going to come back up it’s usually within a couple (two) minutes. This morning it was my pills. Last week it was eggs - but I retried the eggs and they have agreed with me since.
  7. Hi thanks. I need to just go with the process and keep doing what I’m doing. Thanks for the reply and support.
  8. Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions but it gets easier.
  9. Thatch-what does a typical day look like for you intake wise between food and fluid. Are you drinking many shakes?
  10. Doing well. Water intake is good. I agree. We started at a lower weight. Glad you’re doing well. Keep in touch.
  11. Thatch! How are you? I’m going to keep sticking with the plan and I’ll reach my goal. I just see some people on here losing so much faster. I desperately want to get below 200.
  12. Hi all. I was 248 the day I walked into surgeons office. Had sleeve July 10th. Now 215. I feel like I should have lost more by now. Doing everything I’m told to do except have been limited to mostly walking as my form of exercise. I’m very sore and still get periods of exhaustion but it’s getting better. I know slow and steady wins the race but I feel like I should have lost more by now.
  13. Hi all. I was taking celebrate chewables but started vomiting them up. The Twinlab are capsules that I believe I’ll swallow no problem. Anyone else take these?
  14. Hi all. I was sleeved 7/10 and am now in the puréed phase. Up until a couple of days ago I relied on premier protein drinks to help achieve my protein intake goals for the day but yesterday all of a sudden I can’t tolerate them. I feel nauscious and like I can’t drink them. Has this happened to anyone else?
  15. I bought celebrate chewables and have to take my multi in pieces because it makes me vomit. I can tolerate it in small pieces broken up. Take celebrate B12 sublingual quick melt and bariatric advantage chewy bite calcium citrate with d3. Those I tolerate twice a day no problem.
  16. Mine from start to finish was about three months.
  17. Yes. I’ve had good luck with it. Not aware of any problems with long term use.
  18. I had pretty bad gerd before surgery so was on it. Haven’t had one hint of it after surgery. I’m still taking my Pepcid twice a day.
  19. I’m on pepcid twice a day with no problems.
